If they would improve the lighting in the rooms and outside to not be such strong lights, it would completely shift the experience. And this is really a minor thing in comparison to everything about the place that is amazing.

It's just incredible that you can see the sea from your bed, sleeping with the sound of waves and that you can just jump out and be at the beach at any point you feel like. The view of the sunrise from that location is unbeatable. You can also use the first line of chairs and sun umbrellas for free but can order stuff from the bar and restaurant if you want. The rooms are really cute, they have totally ok tables if you need to do some work (don't expect wifi for video conferencing but that goes for most places). Everyone working there was so helpful and understanding, flexible and accommodating to everything we asked for, organizing our taxis, letting us leave things after check out and just being incredibly kind people.

Probably not the best place to meet people.

Although they are strict with their rules, it helps create a very peaceful and overall safe atmosphere. The beds are super comfortable and they offer room cleaning everyday.

Everything is exemplary . A real home during travels. Staff and owner soon became like caring supportive family . A real educational depth of information about life, Oaxaca and everything you could imagine.

Super nice and helpful staff. Room was clean and with a Smart TV. There was mezcal, snacks and coffee being offered to guests in the reception area free of charge. Awesome vibe and happy guests all around. Rooftop was great for having breakfast or relaxing as well.

- weird smell on the ground floor - limited sunlight in the room (but enough to feel comfortable and beside main lamp, there was a smaller lamp which was nice)

They don’t allow us to wash clothes, so I had to bring my clothes to a lavanderia.

Staffs are great. Everything is well considered to make travelers happy. Location is not the best, but you can access to both ADO bus terminal and Periferico bus terminal by foot.

Very nice staff. Free water, tea, coffee and snacks. The room was simple but comfortable. The breakfast was big and delicious for 70 pesos per person (juice, coffee or tea, fruits salad, yogourt + 1 dish of choice). Easy to walk to the center and to the bus terminal.

Water pressure was a little weak, but that seems normal, and there was never any problem getting hot water.

Staff was really great, always happy to accommodate guests as possible. Breakfast was also delicious, with several options to choose from. The room was comfortable and clean, and I felt I had plenty of privacy throughout my stay.

My room didn't have any openable window which meant there was no fresh air at all and it got pretty stuffy. I was on my own, and it didn't bother me enough to ask to change, potentially there might be others with a window to outside

My room always felt stuffy when I walked in because it stays warmer than the area outside the room. It’s OK, though, because the fan keeps things very comfortable. It’s something you’ll only notice going in and out of that particular room (I loved my room).

Located approximately six blocks from the Zocalo, the Hostal Mixteco Naba Nandoo is a beautiful quiet place with a loving, hospitable, and supremely competent staff.
