I heard some people complaining about the wifi, I bought a local chip before coming here so I don’t know how good or bad was the WiFi.

Honestly, this is by far the best Hostel I have stayed at in my life. I can’t believe this doesn’t have a better score. Yes, your bed will be a bunk bed in a shared room with a shared bathroom but that’s what a hostel is. Bed are comfy and private, near everything, a/c, hot water, lockers, nice pillows and sheets, steps from an Oxxo, near a quiet beach, nice pool/bar area in a terrace, safe and only $19 including towel?? again, best hostel ever.

Wish they had parking or could get you a deal on parking for those that have a car. In 2 days I had to pay as much as 1 nights stay in hourly marina parking fees.

The location is excellent, right in the marina by all of the activities and restaurants. It was quiet at night which was a bonus. Heated pool was amazing for cool morning and evening swims.

Nothing that really can be done about this, but the location is really bad. It's a 20-30 minute walk to Medano beach, and you have to walk by all the establishments along the marina. This means you are constantly being hawked everything from a fishing tour to cocaine. Oh, and the 2x1 happy hour did not include beer. I found that to be strange.

The property was clean. There were always employees willing to help with questions. The included breakfast was a nice bonus!

Mayan Monkey hostel is very beautiful place. it was almost unbelievable for me how beautiful it was there. Super comfortable dormitory, beautiful dining area and the swimming pool area. Location is best in town just 5 min from the Beach. Because of this place I booked to stay in the Mayan Monkey in Tulum as well:)

It is a huge hostel therefore there are quite some people around and a lot of partying going on. Sleeping therefore was a bit hard as people entered the room throughout the night making noise. Just to be aware of this

Hard beds huge tvs that did not work.

While this is a hostel & mostly young adults, we were a large group of senior ladies. We stay 1 night to gather before travel to our rental. From very effective manager to maids & waiters, this was an amazing experience. Clean, perfect marina location, excellent food, this is a 10. Beds are hard, tvs didn't work but we agreed we would definitely book again and stay several days. We walked all around the marina, we felt very safe after dark. This was a wonderful experience.

I would have benefited from more info at the start. In a very touristy area by the marina which can be overwhelming. Suggest you just go into town just 2 streets in for much better restaurants etc. and more peace!

Social place with other solo travelers and activites. The pool bar area is fantastic for relaxing or socialising. Very quiet in the afternoon with more atmosphere at night. We had a proper dj one night which was a nice surprise. Was kinda ‘Cafe del mar’/ sunset chilled house disco vibes. My room was quiet enough though.

The bathroom in the room does not allow for a lot of privacy. The glass door doesn't close very well, and one can hear everything.

better as imagined. It is really located at the Marina from the « bridge » you can see the sea lions swimming in the marina. The hostel is clean and modern. there even is a co-working space that is gorgeous. my boyfriend and I would 1000% recommend to go there.

It was absolutely glamorous and was very affordable. The staff was lovely and the hostel had many free events which made it easy to make friends.
