the kitchen was good but needs a few extra things like more bowls, cutlery etc. there’s no sun beds by the pool - would be a nice addition

We had a room on the third floor and it was incredibly loud. We could hear everything from the rooftop bar - people walking, chairs and other things being moved and of course very loud music. So if your planning on relaxing in your room it will be virtually impossible until the bar closes. Rooftop bar was a bit expensive and the pool area looked more run down than in the pictures.

I had multiple hairs on my pillows and the noise from the bar is intense, but that’s to be expected so I didn’t mind. Private room is very expensive but I guess it’s Cancun

Food was on the more pricey side. Shower was small, wet and had a moldy feel/smell. The shower head was clearly old and dirty a lot of lime scale build up.

I think a few things could be improved: (1) the wood used for the beds can be lacquered/varnished because some of the people in my room got splinters, (2) the metal rods and stairs can be painted to prevent rust, (3) the shower and bed curtains could be replaced, and (4) the noise from the 3rd floor could be heard from the 2nd-floor rooms.

The people who worked there were accommodating and gave excellent advice for local places to go around the hostel. There are a lot of local food places around the area! I also liked that the hostel is about a 5-minute walk from the ADO station, making travelling to other places convenient! I also liked that the rooms had lots of space to mingle around. The pool and bar area was excellent for meeting people. Also, there are little patios on each floor where you can also chill.

Music too loud at pool during morning and noon hours. I understand the afternoon or evening but the blasting of reggaeton with speakers above chairs is way too much !

- beds not suitable for tall people - some rooms might be quite loud since especially on the ground floor they're close to the check-in

- check-in even close to midnight possible - nice bar on the roof (however, no food will be served close to midnight which was unlucky for us as we were really hungry) - clean beds and towels - good value for money - very close to ADO bus station

Wanted my passport as deposit for the key. Had to wear the key on the wrist. Wanted me to pay tax in USD cash but give me a bad conversion rate to pesos. All unusual stupid things that don't fit with the rest of the stay. Also the hostel felt a bit groupey, like people were with their people, a bit hard to meet others. And the bar closes allready 00.30.

the hostel is located relatively good, it's very close to the ADO busstation. Pool and bar are upstairs are ok, the pool is not super and the furniture could be newer. the rooms are quite good with comfortable beds. beds have curtains which gives more privacy. bathrooms are clean (unless lots of people use it and leave it dirty behind). hangout area outside with kitchen is ok, nothing too fancy. wifi is stable and fast. there was enough space in the (6 bed female) room and lockers were also available (bring your own lock) towels were provided, AC remote was in the room so you can regulate it yourself. room had no window tho, which was a bit weird but since I didn't stay too long (2 days only) it was ok

Great rooms, lots of space, private beds and lovely guests. The whole Nomad experience across all the hostels is great and the staff are excellent. Santi on reception was especially helpful, recommending great places to eat and drink and made the trip very memorable! Thank you!
