Door shock absorber was broken, the maintenance guy come see it but it was not a problem, but when people lets the door close, it was as if he was slamming it. No toilet paper at the morning. Outdoor toilet door not locking and the other hard to close + Toilet paper inaccessible in the other one. The Chichen Itza tour was not the price announced at first (32US), I did't check the paper correctly because I was last minute, in the bus the additional charge was +60US + some fees at the Cenote) The tour was maybe to adapted to the clients of this hotel ? I feel obliged to spend money at the stores we visits

The music gets loud at night and vibrates the whole building. I thought it would be just over the weekend but it's like that every night of the week. If I was there with girlfriends to party and have fun, I wouldn't have cared. I was there to relax, so this was a personal issue and not the hostels fault. They did turn the volume down when a few people complained. So they are respectful of the guests.

This is the cleanest hostel I have stayed in. I loved the layout of the property. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was good and affordable. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. They have a group chat that keeps you updated on events and tours. I learned how to make a margarita, salsa dancing, took a bike tour, and tried out yoga, all for free. I will be returning in the future.

Loved my stay here. The bed is super cozy, rooms and bathrooms are clean. They take care to keep you engaged and entertained throughout your stay. Just book the hostel and they’ll take care of the activities (some cost extra of course ). Great way to meet other travelers and actually build friendships either way the activities.

Music was a bit loud at night if you went to bed early

Mayan monkey was awesome to stay at as a solo female traveler! Very social hostel, common areas were spacious and tidy but very welcoming and enjoyable to hang out by. Social calendar had many options everyday- cocktail class and Cenote tour were highlights! Breakfast and other food options were delicious. Would recommend to friends.

Bike rental is over priced especially considering you can rent for half price literally in front of the gas station right beside the hostel.

Staff wasn't too knowledgeable about the area. Rental Bikes are the priciest around also the beer price in the bar was steep even for Tulum.

The rooms are well designed, all beds with curtains and a shelf to organize. The Hostel offers activities and the bar is super social. Breakfast is delicious - coffee was a hit and miss though.

Somehow far from beach access. The floor of the bathroom got wet after using the shower. Pool without warm water.

It has superb accommodation and a young and energetic staff. They have nightlife activities that include alcohol—fast response when things go wrong in the room. The yoga class was excellent. Recommended.

The bathroom and shower room had a lot of stuff leftover and not properly cleaned. Despite the cost to stay, there are annoying tip boxes in the room asking for tips to the cleaners. Parking on the street is available but could be tricky to find.

An amazing hostel with plenty of events and potential social interactions. They provide a great breakfast side to the swimming pool, which is also the central living area of the hostel. Ideal place for working travelers, with space for dining or work, generally pretty quiet. The bunk bed was comfortable and very quiet (despite the evening disco music party going on).

The stay was great, I enjoyed chilling by the pool and the breakfast was good. It was the most expensive of my stays but probably also because I traveled during new year’s. It’s close to many restaurants and a 7/11 which is nice.

Tulum was a not what I expected, it’s very rural with dirt roads. The property is in a location where I didn’t feel safe to walk at night
