Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt has all the ingredients to be a superb hotel, but there were some shortfalls and also some horrendous extras costs. They offer a personal concierge, great idea, but we never heard from Giovanni again and not even a check in to see how we were after our first night nor indeed how our dinner was at the rooftop restaurant that he supposedly booked for us.. We were travelling with my 10 year old son and whilst the hotel permits kids , this is not a kid hotel and my son was mostly ignored . This is a great hotel, but the extras are so so so expensive and leave a bitter taste. Just build them into the nightly price. My wife and I took a drink after dinner and it was $55 for an Aperol spritz, a mocktail and they charged us for water as well. Come on!
Location and views. Rooms were lovely, not massive, but well appointed and good amenities.

Francethe food and drinks are quite overpriced. the service on the bar area is pretty bad. at the beach area there’s no one to help with the umbrellas if needed. the food variety is not local, they only serve international food in their menu. the music is quite loud, is not really a family oriented hotel or relaxing hotel, is rather a party/club hotel.
the rooms were very clean and had modern amenities. it had a direct access to the beach. the check in staff was very helpful and nice throughout our stay. loved that they are highly pet friendly.

Canadathe only thing I don’t like is that all the restaurants on the property are expensive .. especially taboo.. like our first day we got there late afternoon and were hungry so we got 3 appitizers to share and 2-3 drinks .. the bill was like 250$ US .. it was good but i feel like that’s too much for a few snacks lol, all the drinks are about 25-30$. if your not a big drinker it’s probably not too bad. I don’t recommend if you want to stay/eat at the hotel during your WHOLE stay because it really adds up quickly, but if you want to go explore around and eat in local restaurants a few times then I do recommend this hotel because the rest is all SO worth it!
this hotels’ view is like no other!! it’s simply breathtaking! the staff were all super friendly, the rooms are very clean & spacious. the food is good but expensive ! I loved the breakfast at mamazzita, super delicious & that was included in our stay so that was nice. there are performers who come around the restaurants pretty often (day/night) which is nice, it gets the party going.. there’s also the DJ during the day which I loved! another great thing is this hotel is just 10 mins from the marina where you can go walk around, shop or get on a boat for a tour of the rocks . we went in march 2023 and saw so many whales! deff recommend doing one during your stay . I would recommend this hotel & go there again. only next time id plan on going out to eat more locally for lunch to save a few bucks lol.

United StatesThey overcharged for everything. And I booked through an email link that included breakfast after looking on Booking.com at this property. Somehow, that didn’t take and we had to pay for our daily breakfast. Not only that, but when I supplied screenshots to the resort, showing them where I clicked through showing breakfast, and times we could have breakfast, they did not honor that obviously technological error.
It was a beautiful property.

United StatesNo communication!!! We paid close to 900 for one night with breakfast include. They had us look at a menu only to tell us that it's a separate menu for breakfast and it was mainly dishes that had egg in it no meat management was no help at all. A bottle of tequila will run you 550 a bottle and 50.00 for two drinks. Again view was amazing the room is not worth the money . The bar in your room is a cash bar you drink it you buy it. you can't bring any outside food inside the hotel. Money hungry also it said adult only resort only to look up and see KIDS. We stayed at the RIU Santa Fe way better at making sure the customer is happy.
The hotel the view was amazing.

United KingdomDidn't like the room - A view of a wall!! Basin was in the room (not a proper separate bathroom), so noisy if someone was trying to sleep. Not a proper door to the toilet. No beds on the beach, and construction on steps to the beach. Shame. The rest of the hotel looked good. I paid a higher rate for the hotel so expected better. So we moved out after one day. Moved to the Corazon Hotel (2 doors down the beach).

United StatesHowever, it targets attractive young people who are there to party with loud electronic music all day, sort of Vegas-style—Cabo ME pool-party host non-hotel guests to reserve prime seats for the day in front of the pool. Hotel guests can only take those seats if they spend a large minimum. Drinks cost about $25-30, and food is also costly in the four restaurants in the facility, which offer great food but can’t provide a fine dining experience because of the loud music. Music plays after mid-nite and can be heard in the rooms. Impossible to relax or enjoy reading a book at the pool; the constant electronic boom becomes stressful. Cabo ME could advertise the truth of what it is all about on its website.
ME Cabo is a stunning hotel with a sleek look and beautiful views of the ocean and Cabo rocks. But, it is not a place to relax. The staff was accommodating and friendly and pampered us throughout our stay. Thank you, Michelle! -A beautiful hotel with the perfect view -Impeccable service and staff
