The rooms were extremely small, we had to wait for the rooms for 30 minutes despite arriving 2 hours after the start of the check in time. They also rented (and gave out keys for our room) to other people. If we didn't come back to the room when we did, they would have entered the room with all of our stuff inside.

3 to 4 blocks offer the highway in a residential area that is all dirt roads. Because of all of the construction on the highway mounds of dirt blocked access to some roads. Finding the hotel took quite a few trys. When we did find it there was no parking in the motel area, room for one or two cars at the most. And we would have had to park out on the street. We made a u-turn at the dead end next to the motel, never even went inside and drove away in clouds of dust.

The location doesn't feel very safe. It's hard to get to the place because the map isn't accurate. We reserved 3 bedrooms and when we got there they only had 2, so we had to pay extra for a bigger room available. The beds aren't very comfortable but it was simply OK for a night passing through.

The room was big, there was a bathtub and there were three beds, great for the family. There was a pool, but we didn't use it. The staff was very nice.

I don't have a problem with a minimal service as bed, bathroom but this was really dirty... looks like more a motel than hotel, we leave one night earlier because was really dirty the shower... when we release the key in the front desk was a kid receiving it. Totally fail.

Receptionist had no record of our booking so insisted that we pay cash for the rooms when we had already been charged the full amount on my credit card. As wifi wasn't working we couldn't check this and despite multiple (7) subsequent phone calls and emails I've been unable to get a refund even though I have a receipt for the cash paid for one of the rooms and proof of the full card payment. The hotel and Booking should be ashamed of the run around they have given me.

The walls are quite thin and you can easily hear other guests talking etc. Fortunately for us the other guests were very quiet - unfortunately for the other guests we talk rather loud.

The price was great and I liked that the staff was very nice and the hotel had character. We were able to park our truck within the gate but we felt a little bad about that because it ended up being in front of someone else's room. I also liked that the hotel was located on a dirt road in a Mexican neighborhood.

Don't trust this property to respect your reservation. We arrived the night of our planned stay and were abruptly told there was no room. They never provided any advanced message notifying us of this sotuation. Obviously it created difficulties for us trying to find alternative accommodation late at night, at significantly greater cost.
