Location is about a 7 minute walk to the main street, probably the most experience hostel I’ve ever seen listed but also there was no availability anywhere

One of the staff took my personal stuff out of my locker and left it wide open in the room four hours. Until i found them by accident! My passport, all my money and personal stuff was in this bag! Very very very bad. No compensation or make up.

Very lovely and relax stay! Not too noisy, most people were working during their time here. Nice pool. One of the staff members, Flor, was very easygoing and helpful

Nice and clean place. Cleaning staff and the girls in the bar and Kitchen are very friendly and welcoming. The place has everything in place, all things are working. Prices are Fair and the atmosphere for Co-working is good.

It's a little far from the main drag, an easy 10-minute walk but a walk. They only serve food till 3pm, and most places aren't open till past sunset for dinner- plus there's no kitchen at the hostel. What I'm getting at is a lot of time spent walking alone around empty streets after dark. I never had a problem, but it could definitely be a little freaky.

Such a beautiful Hostel, it's really as great as their pictures! Everyone was super friendly, and the pools and jacuzzis were great! The beds were super comfy, wifi was fast. I really can't say enough about how much it met and exceeded expectations. It beautiful, clean, and cozy. With warm showers and AC at night. Would definitely reccomend!

I'd say the only possible drawback is the location, as it's a 10-15 min walk to the beach. However, it's also right next to the colectivos on the main road so it's easier to get one and go to other places in Puerto.

The value for money is really good. There is a pool and an AC, which are really nice to have in Puerto because you can always retreat to the hotel during the hottest hours. Even though the AC only works during the night, the room stays cool during the day. I stayed in the dorm and the beds were great, with a curtain for privacy, your own bed lamp, and space to store your things, with a locker included. The staff were always nice and even though there is no kitchen, there is always the option of eating at their small restaurant with the options they provide for breakfast. You also get free water to drink.

Not much! Had some confusion about the discrepancy between booking.come prices vs the hostel - but I think that was a booking.com issue.

Beautifully designed space and finishes / materials, amazing pools, shared dorm felt private, bathroom was clean and generous! Staff were super helpful and friendly, cafe food was super affordable and delicious, location was great. The only downside was the entry road was occasionally difficult for taxis to drive down, but it wasn’t a problem for me!

Communal pool very dirty for majority of my stay (4 nights), they did not clean it until the day they threw a massive pool party. Keep this in mind if you’re looking for a pool. The jacuzzis on the rooftop were clean (luckily). Check beforehand if they have party events planned, as this was a shock to me given that Nectar market themselves as a peaceful place. Also be mindful that Nectar is an arduous long uphill walk from town. In the daytime in Summer it can be extremely hot.

Cute concrete jungley aesthetic, rooftop jacuzzis were great. Its nice that they have fitness classes and also bike rental.

No kitchen is the biggest downside to this place. Not all the dorm beds have the same outlay/features for storage. Needs more hooks and storage options. Terrible service from the main girl in the cafe/restaurant. And she was a real mood-killer lol. Wi-fi was very unstable (as many places in Puerto) Pool was dirty. Yoga class with Shred has a discount for Nectar guests (150 pesos instead of 200) but still ridiculous price. That's on Shred though. Security guards checking your every move was a bit wierd.

Nice facilities and atmosphere. Lovely people staying there. Good for meeting people for not being a party hostel. Manuel and the other guy in the bar were amazing.

Noisy! Drunk young people disturbing my sleep in the room til 2am. Terrible

Too many people on lap tops and on there phones in general.... It wasn't the hostel for me People constantly wanting you to move because you were sitting by a plug where they wanted to charge there laptop !

There was 2 showers in the room one of them didn’t work and the other one didn’t have hot water. It is very expensive and nothing included, like a welcome drink or the yoga classes.

I didn’t like it, it was too expensive for what they offer, no welcome drink, one of the 2 showers in the room didn’t work and the other one didn’t have hot water. Very expensive for what it is. They have yoga but it was not even included when all the other hotels included it.

Air conditioning on a schedule 9am - 5pm. It's not a huge problem, but certainly an inconvenience.

Location 7/10 I enjoyed the walk to the beach - 10 mins. Building 10/10 Nice decor, calming, good pool and work areas. Internet 5/10 It's ok for medium use, but if you need to video call, then it's no good. Activities 5/10 salsa dancing - no thanks, no information on things to do, no fitness, yoga classes, local tours Staff 9/10 friendly & helpful mostly Cleanliness 10/10 bed made daily and it's all clean Comfort 6/10 mattress and bed not great but not terrible Shower 9/10 it would be a 10 but the bathroom floods after each person takes a shower - it needs fixing, otherwise got water and good pressure. The swinging squeaky doors are a little silly and not the best Food 8/10 a basic menu, but pretty good. Good coffee and drinks available. All in all - compared to other options in Puerto, this is one of the best I saw. But I imagine in the coming years options on hotels may improve as Puerto is a bit of a building site at the moment and there's going to be competition. It's not a party hostel which for me was great, but it has a good vibe and I met some really nice people there. Taxi service available, just ask for early morning airport runs etc 250mxp Recommended 👍🏼 I would stay here again.
