The floor was dusty and sandy. One of the bed sheets had some rust stains. We also woke up to a dead cockroach next to our bed. The AC was leaking all night long which leaked on our clothes. It was very noisy in the morning ( very early morning ). There were sewer smells in the shower as soon as you turned on the water. The window of our room couldn’t open it was broken. And the pool is just a block of ciment filled with water on a roof.

The location was great, it was a 6 minutes walk to the beach which was amazing.

The water in the shower was so weak, and we found a lot of Cockroaches in the room, when we reported they said it’s normal instead of apologising for that. AC was super weak although i put it at the coolest ability

Could have been cleaner. Turned up and the bins had not been changed and there was a dead cockroach in our shower. Bathrooms are pretty tacky and need a good bleach. Floors were sticky and had not been vacuumed. Also aircon didn’t go below 25 and it was 37 degrees when we visited. The balcony door didn’t look, leaving us feeling unsafe. The pool needed alot of attention, we did not even swim in it. Water was colour of brown so gross. Lots of work to improve on…. Not to mention the broken efpos machine.

The property is located on an unlit back alley which is not safe vs the rest of holbox. It advertised 24h security but in reality reception closes at 11pm and the front door to the hotel is left unlocked. On top of this, the balcony doors don’t lock meaning anyone could get in at anytime and there is no safe. Towels are ripped; bedsheets are dirty. If I could give this property 0 stars I would.

We could have used a small fridge in the room.

Location was great... not too far from the ferry dock. We had a small balcony and a lovely king sized bed. The room was spacious and comfortable with Air conditioning 😌 😍. Staff were wonderful and friendly. The hotel was clean and really beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The slow Wi-Fi. It was slow the tv froze easier to use my data. If working from this hotel not happening. Mold on the wall pee on the side of the toilet you could see from the shower. Bed was hard as a rock. No shower rug to step out when done with shower sand right back on my feet. Hand towel to dry hands off would be nice. Plus you get your shower towels from the lobby. They were none in the room. They said they bring them to the room. After 9pm I had to get them myself.

The bed sheets were smelling and weren’t clean. The hotel was super noisy at night and people were super un respectful entering their rooms making lots of noises.

The staff were super friendly. The location of the hotel is also amazing. You can walk all the beaches and downtown less than 20 mins.

All the sand and muds from our shoes came to our room and it didn’t get cleaned before the last night of our stay. On the 2nd night of our staying, there was a water and a power break in Mayari and we got no information about it at all so we had to ask many times updates about it. First they said that it will take few hours and in the evening we still didn’t get any information. We understand that it is an issue of an Island and nobody is a fortunteller but the way they handled the whole situation was not good. The hotel was unlivable since we couldn’t see anything, get the ac on or use the bathroom or shower. We had to book one night at different location. We asked a refund for one day but unfortunately I had signed a paper saying that there is no return in money due to issues of water or power breaks. So if you stay here, read all the prints you’re about to sign. It’s a pity because as many people here has said, the hotel has potential, but for some reason they’re not listening the customers. Also the little pool was sometimes very dirty, you couldn’t swim there because you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool.

The location was good, a little walk away from the main street and the beach. The pool area on the rooftop was a nice bonus.

Rooms were very small and basic, front door and balcony doors didn’t lock properly and the towels were ripped. Shower was also really bad but the island had a shortage of water so I guess it may not be the hotels fault.

Staff at reception and cleaning team were so friendly and location is nice as it’s around a 7 minute walk from all the bars and beach, which means it’s nice and quiet at night. It’s really reasonable in price so I guess you get what you pay for and you hardly spend any time in the hotel as the island is so pretty.

Before our arrival, we were asked to bring our own towels. They didn't mention that the pool was empty, which we found out when we arrived. Our toilet didn't flush during the night. We found another hotel with a working pool and toilet the next day.

It is very close to the centre, yet away from the noise of the night life of Holbox. Walking distance from the ferry (although this was a challenge due to the muddy roads). Comfortable beds.

It wasn’t clean and due to the island rule there was no towel. There was bugs in the bathroom and the water was really cold and running very little, I couldn't take a shower

During our three-night stay at this hotel, we encountered varying water pressure in the shower. Unfortunately, we also faced a two-day delay in receiving towels. Upon receiving them, we were disappointed to find the situation matching the attached picture. Additionally, on our last day, we had to wait until 9 am to access water for the shower and sink.

Hands down the worst place I’ve ever stayed. We had no running water for the duration of our stay. We were unable to flush the toilet, wash hands or shower since arriving. The morning of our arrival I received a message from the property advising that there may be INTERMITTENT shortage of water/electricity during certain hours of the day during our stay but the hotel were working on a contingency plan should the situation arise. On asking hotel staff if could provide us with bottled water for showering they provide us with a bucket of chlorinated water from that stagnant swimming pool upstairs. I am unsure why the hotel elected to remain open without basic sanitation. They were also unable to provide towels or blankets as they have no facility to wash them. On a side note the swimming pool was not functioning (which is one of the main reasons we booked this property) this is probably because most of the guests are using this water to bath themselves. They offered us no opportunity to cancel our stay or rearrange our plans prior to arrival and minimised the situation in the pre arrival message. They advised me they could not provide a refund as I booked through booking.com and directed us the booking.com customer service who were very unhelpful. After a lot of back and forth they eventually gave us a 10% travel credit towards our next stay, frankly a slap in the face and just about covered all the water we had to buy to clean ourselves.

they don’t provide towels, shampoo or soap. about the towels it is a serious topic because the lie saying they are still cleaning them; but when you come at night they will tell you they ran out of towels. the truth is, they don’t provide towels as I read in some other reviews; and I talked to other guests who didn’t get any towels as well.

electricity was on and off all the time, no water for two days at the hotel so you can’t use the bathroom, after that only poor pressure, no drinking water around after we asked get some, little fridge would be nice
