Even though it's only a 10 min walk to the centre, the area in which the hotel is in is not brilliant and I wouldn't be comfortable walking around there at night! Although this isn't the hotels problem.

We got a free upgrade which was a nice surprise! The staff were super friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants etc. The breakfast was delicious and the pool area was lovely. A 10 min walk to the centre.

I had a feeling with Howlita immediately by looking at the photos and reading the review. On arrival it was even better than expected. The place is really cool and Christian and his mother will make you feel like a home and will give you tips and suggestions invaluable. Howlita has been one of the best accommodation I have seen.

There are only 3 parking spots and is first come first serve. Parking is available on the street but also kinda limited.

The room was ground level in front of the pool. Big room and decent private bathroom. AC and ceiling fan.

Although we did not feel unsafe (two girls), the neighborhood looked a little bit sketchy (few lights, no sidewalk). Otherwise the location is alright

Sabrina and her husband are just lovely! They were both flexible and helpful. The room was big and the beds comfortable. The breakfasts were really nice. The pool was delicious. There is a private parking in front of the building. We loved our two nights there!

Not a “dislike”, but just fair warning that the property is a ~10 minute walk to town, so a bit off the beaten path. The walk through the neighborhoods to the main road is lovely though! And felt safe.

The property is intimate and peaceful, feels like an Airbnb! Clean and a little oasis. We loved the pool at all hours of the day, comfortable rooms, and nice sitting area. The hosts Ricardo & Sabrina were lovely as well as the staff!

All amazing

All was amazing. Superb breakfast and really clean and tidy. Sabrina was very welcome and friendly, always prompt to help us and give us tips about where to eat what to avoid and how to reach the places. We only stayed 2 nights and wished for more.

The property is perfectly located to easily walk to any and all of the GREAT local bars and restaurants. It is also very close to the ruins at Tulum and just a 30-35 minute ride to THE MOST BEAUTIFUL cenote “Dos Ojos”. The couple who manage (and live at) the property are incredibly friendly and are happy to help you with any and all questions or concerns you might have about how to get where you want to go or even great local options for places to eat/drink. They speak fluent English, Spanish, and Italian. They have a very cute dog as well 🥺. The property is extremely well maintained and clean. The pool provides a relaxing escape during the afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to go back and rest/swim/cool off. I highly recommend!!

Breakfasts were oh so delicious! They served a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, eggs, toast, fresh juice and coffee. The dining area is outdoors with a nice view of the pool.

The hosts were amazing and welcoming. They made us feel like home. Location was good - just a ten minutes walk to main street. We got some recommendations for restaurants, cenotes and where we can rent bikes and scooters. Freshly prepared breakfast - with a plate of fruits, yogurt & granola and a choice of eggs We had 7 different hotels during our stay in Yucatan, at Howlita we had by far the best sleep, the beds were really comfortable and it was quiet. We highly recommend Howlita. It was a great end to our Yucatan round trip. We even got a ride to the bus station.

The room is dark when the curtains are drawn - the floor-to-ceiling window is right next to the guest pool, so there's no privacy if they're open. The bedding feels warm to the touch and isn't very comfortable.

The hosts are warm and most hospitable. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi worked great everywhere on the premises.

We loved staying here for 5 days. Perfect right around the corner from the main street. Very clean (cleaned every day!) and quiet room. Super big bed and comfy A/C. We enjoyed laying around the pool and the amazing service and breakfast every day with fruits, yogurts, and eggs. Was lovely for the full duration, 100% recommend it. The place gets locked up at night, which feels safe.

The host Sabrina is the nicest woman ever. She makes you feel truly at home. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was great and the bathroom was excellent. The pool area was very nice too. Breakfast was superb.

A hidden gem in Tulum. The staff and the owner made our stay very pleasant and took amazing care of us. The room was very big, clean and had everything we needed. The serve a lovely breakfast in the terrace in the morning and the place is a very short walk to the main road where all the restaurants/bars are. I highly recommend this place.
