They moved us to GR Solaris because Royal Solaris was full. It was a great hotel with beautiful pools and delicious food. We could use the pools at both hotels and that was great.

The hotel could do with a bit of maintenance, especially downstairs in the bar area. Getting availability at some of the restaurants for dinner was quite difficult too, you need to book as soon as you get there to secure bookings. The hotel is on the airport side of the hotel strip, so if you want to go anywhere such as the shopping centre or to downtown Cancun you need to get a taxi or a bus.

The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. Quite a few food options in terms of the restaurants available on premises and in their sister hotel next door. Being right on the beach was amazing too! The rooms were a good size and we had a nice view from the balcony.

Almost all dining and bar staff seemed too busy to properly serve guests, so we couldn't even order. The facilities were old, and water was dripping from the ceiling after a heavy rain, with buckets scattered all over the lobby. Just good value hotel for the food quality and swimming pool.

The price was good, the facilities were relatively clean despite being old, the pool area had fun activities, and the night shows were interesting. A few staff members were kind. Food was good

The chairs around the pool were tightly grouped to the point that there was not enough room to walk around to get into the pools. The staff at the kids club did not show a lot of respect to guests. A couple of parents were trying to get around the pool and the staff stood in their way and did not move. The parents almost had to get into the water just to get around the staff. Even though it is not a babysitting service, more attention to the kids in the pool would be advised.

The servers were friendly and tried their best to accommodate us. They were running back and forth to tables ensuring each guest had a pleasant time. Angel and Hector were amazing! The beach was clean and had ample room to enjoy the ocean. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable from the band on the beach to the kids shows in the theater.

Ac did not work properly, wifi did not work, food was OK, did not have many non-alcoholic drink options, lots of restaurants but need to reserve days in advance otherwise no availability, elevators slow

Concierge people n staff were not so helpful and didn't understand and wasted our time...we had to explain same issue to 4 different people at reception and this wasting 1 hour before flight time.

We had wonderful time at this resort, loved the pool side snack bars n pizza place.resprt had organized so many entertainment programs and activities throughout the day, we spent all day at pool side...so many options to eat in different restaurants...Armando at Veneto, Ivan at Marco Polo and other staff made sure we get to eat the best of vegetarian options they had..Linda from Pizzatalisma was really good with her pizzas... evening programs to keep guests busy.definitely recommended. Note: Make sure you ask price for shuttle transportation from airport to n fro to resort, beforehand...they didn't inform us prior and added the cost while check out .

You need to pay tips all day long, for every waiter and employee. That's the only way they will do their work. Despite the hotel policy claiming that you will have 6 water bottles in the fridge, there's none and they won't provide any water or any coffee, until you give tips. Guess what? Humans can't survive without water... The hotel is a little old, and some areas small like mold or something. However, the hotel is clean and decent.

Decent hotel, with good amenities and many pools. Access to the beach, but it's a little rocky so be very careful if you swim. Activities for kids are very good. Many restaurants to chose from.

The food was mediocre and just a little variety during the whole week. The waiting time at the Veneto restaurant was too long, we spent almost 2 hours there waiting for all ordered dishes. The quality of shampoo and soap was low

Food very repetitive and very little for American/ European guests except the pool snack bar Lacked a coffee shop we were told it was being renovated but we never saw where it was coffee from the bar was ok but limited and some of the staff were reluctant to make you ma coffee depending on time of day.

Pool bar and snack services could start earlier. Bar staff was not very friendly and was quite demonstratively after tips. It is an all inclusive hotel, was strange to run around with small dollar bills. We got a lagoon side room (so also road side room). The window was crap and far from sound proof. So our night sleep was not the best.
