Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesThe food on the lunch and dinner buffets is okay. But you can find good items. We enjoyed the French night at Marco Polo, as well as the Mexican night and BBQ night at Panchos. The breakfast buffet is the best of the buffets. At lunch try to stick with the freshly made items like the tacos and grilled options.

CanadaWhen we first arrived, our check-in experience could have been a lot better. The workers at the front weren't very friendly or welcoming. Aside from receiving our room number and wrist band, we didn't get any other info that in retrospect would have been really helpful. ( E.g, folio number, Solaris app, etc....). It was also really unfortunate that we couldn't get a room near the other family we were traveling with. We called months in advance and were told to call back a week before our stay. We did that but couldn't get through. We didn't necessarily expect to be right next door but, at least on the same floor or building.
The grounds of the resort were absolutely stunning! The gardening and landscaping was perfect. The pools were awesome and steps away from the gorgeous beach! I liked that everything was very close together and walkable ( rather than a resort you have to take a shuttle to get to the opposite end). The Kids Club was an excellent bonus! We were pleased with the leaders watching over our children. Overall, we had a lovely vacation!

United StatesIn my booking I asked not to be next to elevator, stairs or ice machine as I'm a light sleeper so they placed a single guy over 50 with all the families with kids, I should have asked for a different room. Kids slam doors, are loud because they lack awareness since they are excited and just noisy in general, I know, I have 3 adult children. Big issue is that if you wanted a lounge chair to lay in the sun you literally had to put towels on them by 8:30am each morning. People reserve lounge chairs all day but only spend a few hours using them so others end up not being able to use them - that's not fair for all guests. When the hotel is near capacity, the Adults only pool is too small. Same issue at Adult pool with people reserving lounges for the day but only using them for a few hours, not ok.
The Staff was warm, welcoming and helpful with directions. I enjoyed the nightly shows in the auditorium and the 1 minute to win in the lobby that Kia managed. I enjoyed the pool side activities and that entire team doubled as some of the nightly entertainment.
