How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The rooms are not sound proofed any body talking in the corridor is clearly audible inside the room. No electric kettle.
Nice clean hotel. Good location. Helpful staff.

Some minor irritants, for example, the taps in the bathroom sink were difficult to close. Only one electrical outlet in the room located away from the bed. Dated furnishings.
The location was good as the hotel is located in a walkable area. The room was clean.

The building and rooms are old and dated. The wifi is weak and unreliable. There is a lack of plugs in the room, with weak connections. Thin walls and quite loud at times at night. Weak water pressure.
Location is good, right in Roma. It's easy to find. Breakfast at the restaurant was pretty good.

We asked for a room with two double beds But when we arrived they said they don’t have more just a different room with an extra bed which was fine but the extra bed wasn’t that comfortable. Also the linens were stained and the bed had a cigarette mark on it.
It was in a good area and close to the park and good restaurants. Safe area! The room was okay.

It’s close by to angel de la independence, you have everything around (restaurants, bars, shops). The hotel itself is a bit old but you get a fair price, so it’s ok. WiFi worked well. Nothing to complain

The parking must be using valet, so if I decided to go out multiple times I couldn't. The member of the front desk with a "long face" at my reception! And the bed was not comfortable at all. Lights nearby the main mirror too slow. But it was pleasant enough for me.

The bathrooms at this hotel are a bit awkward. Water would spill out from the shower stall into the bathroom floor.

- The cleaning ladies wake us up at 9 asking if we wanna clean the room while we are still sleeping - Wish the room is bigger. Kinda hard to open the luggage at the same time
- The location is great. 10-15 mins walk to Roma Norte, Condesa, or Zona Rosa - The cleaning lady is nice. Very friendly and would offer us more than what we need. - Two double beds! - Internet is smooth in our room, which is a bit unexpected since we read all the comments saying wifi is weak. - Great shower, nice hot water, hairdyer. We like the faucet is separated from the toilet.

There was nothing we didn't like it was exactly what we expected and more
The location was awesome, it is walking distance to paseo reforma and many shops restaurants and street food vendors. Everything else we wanted to see and do was easily reachable by bus and metro train

The wifi is not yet completed to give access in-room.

The bed was very firm so I couldn't sleep very well. We had a room close to the lift, so there was a lot of noise at night from other guests. We asked to be changed but there wasn't any room available.

The only major issue was the internet connections, i was able to connetc to wi-fi but never reached internet.
The location and price are excelent, you got a easy access to public transportation, plenty of restaurants around.

Wi-fi was shaky, yet worked for basic needs.
Very nice hotel with a great combo of price, location and services. It looks vintage (which could be a bonus for some), yet all works as expected. I had a room with windows to the inner yard and it was pretty quiet during the night. Nice TV entertainment solution based on Roku. Location is great for many places (metrobus line nearby, short walking distance from shopping, bars and a souvenir market, etc.). Would stay again.
