Sometimes it can be noisy at night being close to busy side roads. If you're a light sleeper, earplugs would be beneficial.

Great location in Cabo San Lucas and close to good food. Affordable private rooms if you want some space. They offer free breakfast every morning from 8am which is a great additional service (although I missed it due to leaving early for diving). The property is cleaned thoroughly each day, which is important in communal shared spaces like bathrooms.

Awesome staff and breakfast! Well equipped kitchen and spacious, comfy communal areas. The TV has Netflix which was a bonus. I stayed for 2 weeks and had a really nice stay, it felt like home. Its quite expensive compared to hostels in other cities, but its good value for Cabo. As the kitchen is so good, you can save money on meals if you need to. There's usually someone around to hang out with, but its also a really good place to stay if you need to do your own thing. I was studying a lot, and it was a perfect for that. Hostel Sofia was home away from home great common area with kitchen and bathroom, Carlos looked after us as a mother would cooking, cleaning, sorting out minor disagreements..we had a chainsaw snorer in our 8 bed room who was given his own sleeping area in the lounge so the rest of us had peace...also the master of google translate...Great rooftop terrace and patio too Manni the owner and his #1 Carlos looked after us like family.

The outside noise was kind of loud but I guess that's to be expected in a hostel so it didn't bother me too much.

The location was good and I could walk everywhere. I thought it was an excellent location especially for the price. It was really good value. The bed was comfy, the facilities were nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom floor was soaking wet and dirty but solved that by just wearing shoes the whole time. Would have liked it if there was more than one bathroom for the whole hostel.

It is about a 10 minute walk to get to the Malecon, but it’s okay because that means its closer to better priced food.

We had a great time at Sofia! Mani was incredibly helpful and taught us how to use the local bus system. He speaks very good English and is quick to help you with anything you may need/want. Breakfast is very yummy and the overall atmosphere of the hostel is very laid back and safe. We tried a different hostel for a night and came back because Mani was so nice and helpful.

My bed in particular was a very thin cot bed. Having a thicker mattress would improve sleep quality. Note: this was just my mattress in the shared room, as others seemed thicker.

Each staff member is incredibly nice, multiple languages spoken, very clean (staff are constantly cleaning), lots of kitchen utensils if you need to cook.

right in downtown Cabo with free car parking in front of the hostel and nearby. they cook a great pancake breakfast for guests too very impressive.

The hostel was very clean. I stayed in a double room which was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Bathroom was right next door. Mani was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Was a 15 minute walk to marina and 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars. Was also an Oxxo right a Ross the street for anything you needed. Highly recommend staying here.
