Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI will start out by saying we had a group of 22 friends. check-in took 1.5 hours for just my family. I had 3 rooms on 2 reservations. booking upgraded my 2-rooms and they tried to charge me 3216 each room instead of 3216 for two rooms, once that was done one room wasn't cleaned even after 6 pm several in our group got the wrong rooms that had to be changed out over the next few days. They hit me with some new tax fees that began after the new year even though these were booked a year ago. the ALL-inclusive is a scam. the drink menu had only a few drinks included the rest had to be paid for. food menu was limited with more paid meals than inclusive meals. I have been to many all-inclusive restaurants, and the menu has never been this small. If you did breakfast only that was 25 a day you had to pay for water in a bottle. drinks before 10 am had to be paid for and not covered under the All-inclusive. The bartenders on the poolside were amazing, bartenders on the restaurant side and lobby restaurant not so much, they would see you standing there and pretend to be doing paperwork. most drinks took 5 minutes or more to get with nobody waiting they just ignored you and the lobby bar no judgment but was not that friendly. Most of the time they make you want to come back and sadly this place did not and we won't be returning. I was not to happy with the amount of money they charged only to be charged hundreds more in noninclusive items. all in all I have zero desire to revisit this facility
The pool and hot tub was nice

United StatesThere really is no nearby beach if you are looking to spend the day at the ocean. You can safely walk to the closest beach in about 10-15 minutes. There is a lot of hawking people selling their wares, but not necessarily over aggressive if you ignore them. There are also water taxis that will transport you to a beach for a price. We drove a car and left each day to explore, but the streets are somewhat unorganized other than the main ocean blvd.
Breakfast was excellent as it was included. If you don't include on the reservation, they bill $25/per person. The area around the hotel is lively in the marina with lots of better restaurants that relatively high priced, but not unreasonable. There is many many boat offering to fish or do a sunset cruise. There is no end of places to drink and eat. The harbor is a safe area with cruise ships coming in each day. The pool area is nice and there are seals and pelicans in the harbor. A great place to run in the morning and a Starbucks in walking distance. If you don't like inclusive resort compounds, this is the place to be. If you prefer to sit at one location in locked gates with no intention of leaving, I would not recommend.

United StatesThere’s no beach. (But there isn’t at my house either. ) there’s 2 lobby areas which is confusing when the tequila kicked in.
I don’t want to say how wonderful it is- because it’s my secret. I felt 100% safe. Security is evident . The location is PERFECT if it’s your first time here. They have jacuzzi’s. Our waiter Noe at the restaurant was amazing. Our breakfast waiter Juan was the best. So welcoming and friendly. Food was actually very good.

United StatesRidiculous huge resort. Takes 15 min to go from your room to the pool. Place is full of out of shape snow bird seniors. Music is outdated and to loud- huge speakers right on top of you. Gym equipment is old. Definitely not a four star. No desk in the room to work. No side tables by bed. No outlets to charge your phones.- see above. Shower outdated. No carpet in the halls - can hear everyone talking - shouting in the hall and moving their luggage. The whole place is awful. Don’t waste your money. No ability to change room temperature stayed in January and was lucky to find a blanket in the room.
The view from the pool is decent. Wi-Fi does not work at the pool which is lot ideal.

SpainThe staff is very aggresive, especially in the breakfast area. Furniture in the rooms is very old, is cockroaches and geko everywhere, minibar very expensive, 8 usd per 1 water bottle. Breakfast is very poor and is not change the menu in 7 days. Is not vegetables, no cheese, no croissant, no salami or fresh cut, coffee is only a colour water. All staff from breakfast they ask for tip. If you dont pay they will be engry. All area around this hotel is full with scamers who try to cheat the turists. Also all Los Cabos is over priced without reason.

CanadaThere wasn't anything we didn't like about this hotel. The only confusing part of this hotel is where we were staying was a different building than the main lobby.
The location cannot be beat. You get to watch the sun set and rise over the marina. Our room was located along the same floor as the pool deck, at first we thought this might be loud for any parties going on but we thoroughly enjoyed it and the hotel stayed fairly calm and quiet. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal absolutely worth every penny. If you're traveling with a car they have free parking for the duration of your trip as long as you don't lose your parking ticket. We were looking for a place to stay for a couple days when we got our bearings in Cabo and this place far exceeded our expectations. I would 100% recommend staying here again and have told people about this hotel already. Definitely worth it. If you were considering doing the all-inclusive option. You can buy it per day so I wouldn't waste your money on all inclusive option unless you're planning on being there all day. Also if you're planning any boat excursions you're just a hop skip and a jump away. The location on the marina is excellent for people watching.

United StatesWifi did not work in our rooms which that interfered with our remote work. No water for day and half . Could not take shower for day and a half. Even after they fix it water pressure was so low that we could not use the shower. Poor housekeeping. Had to call 3 times to get the room clean. Breakfast restaurant would take so long to serve the food. Building and rooms are very dated and old. Rooms smell like old wet buildings. We checked out a night earlier because of all those issues. Requested for the last night refund but they denied it.
Did not like it at all.

United StatesThe Worst Hotel Experience of My Life: Tesoro Los Cabos, Mexico I don’t think words can fully capture the disastrous experience that was my stay at the Tesoro Los Cabos. What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location turned into an absolute nightmare, all thanks to this hotel’s appalling management, lack of basic amenities, and overall trashy environment. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. Let’s start with the basics: the property itself is visually appealing, but any semblance of enjoyment is obliterated by the hotel’s complete disregard for guest comfort and security. The moment you step foot on their premises, you are bombarded by aggressive street vendors who yell, harass, and follow you, making it impossible to feel safe or relaxed. This chaos extends right into the parking garage, where the harassment continues unabated. Held Hostage in Their Parking Garage The parking situation is the most absurd I’ve ever encountered in years of travel. We misplaced our parking ticket, and instead of assisting us, the hotel washed their hands of the issue entirely, claiming the garage wasn’t their responsibility. This is the same garage all hotel guests are required to use. Our car was essentially held hostage for two days until we managed to find the lost ticket. Not one staff member offered help, sympathy, or even basic courtesy. This level of indifference is astonishing. Room Downgrade and Non-Functioning Amenities I prepaid for an upgraded room, expecting a certain level of comfort, only to be dumped in a basic room with zero functional amenities. There were no accessible outlets in the room, which meant I couldn’t even charge my phone overnight—a modern necessity, especially for travelers. At the pool, the outlets didn’t work either, and to make matters worse, the internet was a daily disaster. Guests had to request a new access code every single day because the connection was unreliable at best and nonexistent at worst.

United StatesWe booked a standard room. It was dated, shabby and the floors were filthy. If you walked on the floor with white socks the bottom of feet turned black as well as your bare feet. Paint is peeling off the bathroom walls and there was constant smell of sewer gas. When I requested a better room, the cost was an additional $100 per night. That didn’t fit into my budget so stayed in the crappie room spending as little time as possible.
The staff were wonderful and the food and beverages were very good. The hotel is perfectly located very close to everything.

NorwayDuring weekends many rooms in the most recently renovated part of the hotel, i.e. the part furthest away from the reception, has ahuge sound pollution problem coming from a nightclub across the street blaring loud music all night, and I mean literally all night. If you can't stand loud music all night, insist on getting a room in the quiet end of the hotel, i.e. same side as the reception.
The hotel is centrally located in the marina area. Lots of restaurants nearby. However, the walk to any of the beaches is long. The view from my room (standard with sea view) was nice: good view over the marina and towards the ocean. Most of the balconies facing the marina have morning sun, but not evening sun. The pool area was nice. Breakfast had both Mexican options and European/American.

BrazilSome of the staff were unhelpful. The breakfast has a lot of lunch food and most of it is open to flies and stuff. Coffee is "americano" only and is pretty bad. There is no espresso or cappuccino, you have to pay extra for that. The bathroom was dirty with urine all over the toilet when we checked in and when I complained the receptionist just said "I'm sorry". They will try to make a "timeshare" like offer, do not fall for that as it is pretty much a scam unless you want to to stay a lot of nights with them for the rest of your life. The location, although central, is subject to a lot of noise. The last night there was loud music until 1:30 a.m.
Staff was polite and helpful most of the times. The breakfast has a lot of options, for most tastes. The location in front of the marina is pretty good and has a lot of options for food and activities nearby. Since we were just using the hotel as base for other activities, our experience was at most ok.
