I always like coffee in the room. We needed to buy our milk for communal coffee.

Athentic Mexican decor. A few min walk to beach. No other tourists around. Secluded and peaceful. Easy walk to restaurants. Very helpful staff.

The host was amazing and welcoming. Facilities were great, we stayed in the larger unit with a king size bed. Super clean, kitchen had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful with good access to the beach although a bit of a walk

this is a great location, 3 minute walk to the ocean. a further 5 minute walk along some rocky shore to get a a nice sandy beach. the kitchen is in an elevated open air building that has all the accessories. the best coffee is available all morning. the owners tom and lizet were often around and fun to chat with. other guests were all very cool. i stayed in the shared dorm, it was really quiet and easy place to be.

The hostel was clean. Large open kitchen with a view of the beach. Friendly and lovely owner couple. The guest were all friendly too. Free water. Lots of free ice for the weather. Love it. Thanks for being a good host. Will visit again.

genuinely the best hostel I have ever stayed at. facilities are absolutely beautiful and cleaned daily by friendly cleaning staff. the owners are so lovely and have the best recommendations for anything you could need. they also run very well-priced surf trips to different surf spots. and less than a 5 minute walk to manzanillo bay. couldn’t recommend this place enough

We had an amazing time at Troncones point. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodative. It is not on the water but with in a short walk to a really nice beach. The place is clean and has a really nice vibe.

One night I slept on the top of the bunk beds and there it was really hot, as the fan for the top beds is not very good. So I did not sleep much, the other night was much better.

The hosts are super friendly and the hostel is very clean. Thanks a lot, it was a very nice stay overall.

The property is beautiful and looks out over the point at Manzanillo Bay. You can watch the sunset and even the waves come in the point. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and there’s a huge Palapa where you can cook and hang out with other guests. The Hosts are a very lovely and accommodating couple and the speak many languages. I highly recommend staying here and will be back again next time.

This is a super friendly place in a beautiful location and I would definitely recommend if you are going to Troncones. The nearby beaches are stunning and you hardly see a soul, especially Playa Majahua.

Theres so much to like about this hostel. Having just left Mexico City, this place was like a breath of fresh air, its so chilled out and Tom and Loz were so helpful and kind. I definitely will be heading back here again!

My husband and I are just retired and aren’t surfers, but saw the great reviews and wanted to try Point Hostel. We rented Casita Estrella and were disappointed in value for cost. The room is very small with limited space for clothes, no lock and an outside bathroom/shower. Small sink in room and very dim lighting. Room got very hot during day and supplied fan didn’t help much. Access to the beach is a bit challenging and you have at least a 10 minute walk down a hot road with no sidewalk for a small store or restaurant. The “welcome beer” promised by Tom never did materialize.

Lovely grounds and friendly hosts. Coffee in the morning. Lisette was very helpful.

The property is perfectly located to catch some of the most excellent waves in the region. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with exceptionally friendly and informative staff.
