MaldivesWe travel as a group of 3 members. One of our friend has left his sunglasses in our room. The same day when we reached to the room we found that the housekeeping had done the room service and my friend sunglasses has missing from the room. It was on the room before we left the room. The same night we have informed the reception that the sunglasses were missing from the room after the room service done by the housekeeping. The lady at the reception told that she will check with the housekeeping team and we wait for an answer for next day. Next day we asked the lady at the reception about the update. Her was very rude. She said her staffs didn’t take the sunglasses and it is our responsibility to NOT keep the expensive items in the room. I believe that this should not be the answer to her guest. We paid the whole stay before we check in and it is the property responsibility to provide the safety and security to the guests. We can’t take all our belongings with us whenever we go outside. We are 100% sure that the sunglasses have taken by housekeeping staff. The checkout day 2 ladies came to our room when we complained and they started yelling at us in their language. I believe that this should not be the way to retreat to guests. We requested the receptionist that we want speak to the manager. She simply said the manager is on leave can’t speak to the manager now. If we want to speak to the manager we have to come back on Sunday. That was our departure day how would it be possible to came back again to Malaysia on Sunday. This the level of service we got from this hotel. There is no safety and security in this place. As per the receptionist guest should carry all the belongings and the luggage’s whenever we go outside even for shopping or to the restaurant. We highly recommended that there NO SAFETY AND SECURITY in this property. Highly recommended NOT to come this place.
