How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

despite being a hotel, there is no housekeeping provided. came back after a day out in the same conditon. no room slipper provided so i walked around in my own footware. Not enough hanging hooks in the toilet to hang towel and dity clothes
The snacks and drinks available at at the lobby were reasonable and not cut throat pricing. The hotel is located along the road so it's quite easy to find the place.

No water dispenser at each level and there is no tissue in the room and no mirror outside of bathroom

The room we got that day had an unusual bad smell 🤢🤢🤢 The smell was so bad when we first enter the room.. we thought the room smell will disappear after few minutes.. but when we head out the room to go to eat.. then came back.. we thought the smell was gone but it still there & even worst than before.. Before check out, we stumbled with one male housekeeping staff & told what happened, he said the smell is because of some new paint being painted in the room.. this actually doesn't explain why we were getting a room with new paint in the first place plus with that smell at that.. they should check first if new paint will give any bad smell 😕 WE USUALLY STAY AT THIS HOTEL & NEVER EXPERIENCE SOMETHING LIKE THIS.. SO WE HOPE THEY TAKE CONSIDERATION OF THEIR CUSTOMERS' ROOM.. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
I like the location of the hotel.. usually go here with family when going for holiday.. 😊

Would prefer the ironing board and iron to be in individual rooms but there wasn't a line to use the iron in the corridors so it's not too bad. The toilet is not for fussy users, it can be quite crampy and uncomfortable for those who are particular about toilet sizes.
The staff were perfect. Friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect as I was having something on at Toppen Shopping Centre and it was within walking distance through and fro. The loft was great— comfortable and value for money.

0% sound proof. conversation from people inside their room can be heard as well. Room with window just add on to the noise level at night. Room definitely smell when i just entered and clear it off with a bottle of febreze.
Staff is helpful and polite. Just remember its a cheap stay, so dont expect too much to avoid disappointment.

Windowless small room like Taiwan concept. But that’s all right as described in the listing.
I like the tv that has radio channel. The room was clean and properly kept. Toilet are clean as well with no smell. The service counter is professional. Worth the price!

Bedsheet are smelly and soundproof is poor. Not suitable for leisure. Plan staying 3days in Johor and would like to extend they stay. But end up decide change another hotel due to noise from neighbour extremely disturb my sleep.

Stayed before, was amazing. This time it’s not. Staffs were unfriendly, all of them, met 5, none is friendly. Room ia not well cleaned. Hairs of previous guests is still on bed, 4-5 strands, that’s a lot. Shower is not hot, just not cold. Aircon is not cold, woke up in sweats a few times throughout the night

The sound insulation is not good. About 11pm-12am, the noise from the upstairs for a long time (including the sound of dragging chairs, walking, closing the door) can be heard clearly.

The room itself was not clean. The sheets and towels had stains and the glass door still had finger prints that were visible. The hallway smelled until the cleaners came to open the windows in the hallway.
The property was well located and had a seperate room downstairs to work.
