The window was on a strange courtyard… we had to let the curtain on. A bit expansive compare to other place were we stayed after this night.

We had the first two rooms downstairs, directly next to the entrance. The building is very noisy, so each person who came inside interrupted our sleep. So bring your earplugs with you 😃. First room had a hard mattress, second room was better👍🏻.

De location was perfect 👌🏼, walking distance of a nice area in Georgetown. The size of the rooms were good. It was very clean. Next to the entrance there is a small shop, that was great! The host Danny is very kind, thoughtfull and helpfull.

No staff around but the self check in was smooth if you have WiFi. Unfortunately we didn't and had to stop to be able to access our room. The hotel WiFi was quite bad at times.

the hotel floor and bedsheet seen not so clean, but overall good stay.

Near to the food street which just have a 10min walk, opposite hotel have the cafe and music band, which you can go if got free time. Convenient stall at the ground floor which is a bonus marks. if you aim for a short stay, this is a good choice for penang food hunting

Great place, the only problem is you can hear everyone walk past your room.

Great place, with really helpful staff. The room had an AC, TV, private bathroom, 2 beds, towels, bathroom kits, hair gel and shampoo, hair dryer, and toilet paper. They even had a kettle, glasses and spoons. Very nice place and the staff will help you out with anything.

Rooms with windows facing the street are noisy all the time. The room is not soundproof. can hear the sound of the room next door Rooms with windows are more expensive but noisy. Rooms without windows are probably better in regards to noise.

We stayed in the room without window, I think a room with window there would be a lot more enjoyable if able to afford it, it gets a bit stuffy.. Check in time as described is quite late ( 3pm) Would of loved a dimmer light on bed side table and mugs for kettle A water dispenser in building if possible would if been great, ended up having to use loads of water bottles and no big bottle (5L) from the convenience store either.

Staff helpful- allowed us to store our bags whilst we waited for check in Well located in town to many restaurants, cafe, bars and main street. Just around the corner from Little India. Felt safe with security at night in front and pads/codes to get in. Bedroom was very simple but clean and bed pretty comfortable Very good shower Convenience store attached to building, note staff there was grumpy.

The only thing I can complain about is the creaky beds as they are not stable.

The place is nice and quite near many tourist attractions, affordable price if you don't mind mixed dorm, they also provide female-only dorm. Food wouldn't be a big problem cause you can find so so many restorans nearby and a 24-hour convenience store.

The fire alarm went off in the night because of someone smoking. Not the hotel fault but very annoying. The smell of the room was not nice.

Fire alarm went off at 2am and everyone had go outside. The issue with no staff onsite becomes apparant in these kind of situations as we do not know if some random half dressed guy telling us it is safe even works at the hotel. Otherwise no issues, but there were other gets frustrated by the lack of onsite staff for day to day things. As others mentioned, walls are thin, so you can hear everything. TV Didn't work (probably remote batteries), AC remote was also playing up. Beds extremly firm (if you are used to something softer like us, it feels like you are sleeping on the floor).

Great location close to ferry and most walking streets of George town. Seamless checkinn. Hotel in reasonable condition with signs of improvements ongoing.
