Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Singaporethough the apartment was right opposite Legoland but there is no direct link from apt exit to the park. need to go around the whole estate to get to Legoland. Apartment was a little dusty and bedroom aircon was not cold enough. master bedroom wardrobe door not working at all. Not enough cloth hanger inside master bathroom. Forgotten about the door pin code and opening dr with key was a great challenge. Unable to locate the central bin chute at the floor level. Unit located right outside the lift lobby with poor sound insulation. keep hearing the lift bell sound.

Australia- Hot water system was broken - Aircon was only half working - Dirty bathrooms with distinct sewage smell - Bedsheets were also unclean (but liveable) - The apartment felt like it has not been maintained for weeks and is barely liveable. We had to book alternative accommodation ASAP next morning.
Nothing other than location and proximity to Legoland

Indonesiathe place is quite remote, so make sure you have plenty of time to go to airport (in my case : changi airport). unless you have (afternoon) afternoon flight, better spend 1 day in Singapore before go to changi.
the location is quite strategic if you want to go to LegoLand only.

MalaysiaThe mattress are a bit old and lumpy, and the kids room only had 2.beds not 3 beds as per stated. Overall the place is clean. But the sofa at the living room was not sturdy.
But the postbox room should have a sign to say that once door close u will be locked in without the access card. So I was locked in while dropping back the keys.

SingaporeBunk beds had visible dust in corners. Sofa had stains although they were partially covered up with a blanket. Poor ventilation in bathroom in master bedroom, which left a musty smell after we used it. We ended up trying to avoid using the master bedroom toilet for showers. Sound proofing was poor we could hear doorbells and doors opening / closing of the neighbours which woke us up at night. Not value for money; for the same price could have stayed at better apartments but we thought we would try a different place this time.
clear check in instructions. Very close to legoland and amenities. Hosts were responsive when we had issues with the digital lock. Spacious living and dining space.

MalaysiaI think the host could be more user-friendly and appoint someone that is more schedule-free to reply to customers & the host should explain properly to the customers that check in, and inform prior to the customer about their deposit. The host should also return the deposit immediately after the check out process, if the host face a process delay. The host should inform the customer to avoid misunderstanding. Thank you.

SingaporeI’m giving bad ratings not because of the apartment but however it’s because of the building itself. i stayed there for just one day although I booked and paid for 4 days 3 nights. i decided to pack up and booked Legoland hotel that night itself and left the next morning because it’s really creepy and spooky for me. 1) we stayed at level 26, no doubt it has a beautiful view and was refreshing however it’s also creepy. 2) the lift was rundown, could have done something to make it better. also, we experienced something spooky with the lift, to each its own but after a few of the things that we experienced in the building that’s why we decided to leave and never coming back. 3) The lobby is located behind and facing a lake so it can be really scary at night, not only spooky but for safety reasons. although there is one security guard at the lobby for check ins purposes however the security guard is not there all the time too but the security guards there are really nice and friendly 👍 4) As I mentioned, we were given level 26 and it’s high, but when we came out of the lift it was a long journey of corridors to reach our unit, and most of the units are empty so it really is scary. we don’t even dare to open our apartment door at all when we’re inside the whole night. maybe if you come with a very big family I think it should be ok because the more the merrier. i came with my mum and two daughter so all girls and it’s only 4 of us so we’re really scared to the extend we didn’t go out at night at all and we even bought food through grab but the grab rider was really nice tho and patiently waited for us at the lobby. 5) Surprisingly Legoland is just like 10 mins walk away , it’s very near. it’s just opposite the apartment that we’re living at except that the lobby is facing behind. but it’s very near, you cross the road and you’ll reach medini mall and medini mall is connected to Legoland and there’s a lot of food choices.
the house is surprisingly clean and comfortably good to stay, also I was given an apartment at level 26 the view is nice because it’s at a high floor but there’s also disadvantages because the balcony in the house is not safe for kids as there is no grill and kids can just open the door and enter the balcony although there’s a lock but it’s just a normal lock every balcony door have so yeah but the balcony doesn’t looks like in the picture it doesn’t have any swing just plain balcony even with no chairs or tables but it’s still good, the apartment that I got the view was facing a few lakes and a hospital and even the clouds so when you wake up in the morning it is really beautiful to watch the clouds moving and even sun but anyway I have no issue with the apartment as everything is good except different apartments is diff, mine doesn’t come with washing machine and no Netflix but the wifi is very strong and surprisingly good 👍 there is even aircon both in the living room and bedroom, also there is water heater and the toilet is also clean and nice. There is a fridge too so we can store some drinks in👍 The room bed is a king sized bed and its comfortable and the deco in the house is nice however the owner isn’t so friendly as to reply to my questions..
