Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe really missed not having any tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Also found the lighting in the bathroom a bit dim.
Great location in KL: close to two monorail lines and covered walkways above the busy roads. This area has changed a lot in the last few years and there are quite a few upmarket restaurants nearby as well as a couple of shopping malls with good food courts. The Chow Kit is a small but very well run hotel with stylish interiors and very efficient, friendly staff. We were lucky enough to get a great view over the city from our room and enjoyed watching the monorail traffic! Good soundproofing so there was no noise from the busy surrounding streets. Free filtered water dispensers on each floor.

United StatesNot a big deal for us, but the cheaper rooms don't have windows with views. The windows are opaque and face a light well.
Very clean and comfortable room in an elegant, historic hotel. We reserved one of the less expensive rooms with twin beds, which was fine if you don't mind a window with opaque glass facing an interior light well. The food and drinks at their restaurant were very good, as well.

MalaysiaAlthough the boutique hotel has won many awards, still the room was lacking kettle, complimentary coffee tea and utensils. We need to request all that but still NO tea coffee..ONLY drinking water..the price was expensive and lacking basic amenities as a hotel. Please improve.
2nd time staying here. The room was not that big but can fit the 3 of us without extra bed because no space but we make do by sleeping at the sofa and we needed extra pillow, blanket and towel for my daughter. Everything was in working condition. Breakfast was great. The ambience.

MalaysiaThe lightings are so romantic. But i guess that’s how the hotel was designed. The music in the lift is so loud. Don’t get it why it needs to be that loud. I think, if the breakfast is buffet style, it’d be better.
It’s so close to Monorail (Medan Tuanku), shopping mall (Quill City Mall), and other attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. We’re quite lucky to have an upgraded room as the room that we supposed to stay, the aircond wasn’t cold. The room is clean as well. Even though you need to pay RM15 for the parking, but you can validate it and can go in and out as many times as you want for the whole stay and we could go around KL.
