Family Room with Sea View (a room offer in booking.com) is actually 2 rooms connecting each others. We were surprised when received 2 keys for our thought one room. Since we were only 3 peoples; 2 adult and 1 child; the family room are quite spacious. But we enjoyed our staying and having very good sleep here. Ocean view is also very scenery.

MalaysiaYou have to carry your luggage up stairs because there was no lift. However, you can always ask for the staff help if they are free. No mini fridge to store cold drink or food. The bathroom floor is a bit slippery, maybe because of housekeeping mopped it to keep it smell nice. After a spray, the floor is good.
The hospitality is excellent. I had a large clean room and large bathroom, comfy to move around. Basic utility such as TV and air conditioning. They do provide internet but I didn't use it since my phone coverage is excellent (Celcom-Digi).

GermanyOut- and inside scenery of a 90s horror movie, room 319 to 322 have the outside aircon control units right in front of the window (loud), whole building needs some new paint, blood (most likely) on the 'new' bed sheet is a absolute no go even if the hotel needs a bit of love (-1)
Super kind staff, located perfectly to the restaurants at the pier, cheap, clean (more or less, see below), bed super comfy, extra points for hot water in the shower (even with low water pressure) The whole hotel would deserve a 8+

Very nice hotel and friendly stuff. Big rooms, equipped well. Ask for a room with harbor view. They will provide if some is free. Good value for price. Also Kudat itself is nice. You're right near to promenade from this hotel.
