We did have to switch rooms due to the heater not working. But they were able to quickly resolve the issue with a new room.

No secure parking. Booked double room, was given two single beds. No views.

Price was reasonable and in good location, near shops. They offered to let me park in front of entrance and offered security.

the hotel is in a very busy neighborhood hence the noice of people. And when requested room service they didn't have food I ordered. I then opted for sandwich which was very disappointing when it came, and the ice cream was horrible couldn't even finish it. The hair on the shits gosh!!!!

Due to our carelessness, we left a small bag in the room and we realized it two days later, that the hotel staff was very responsible and helped us find the bag and returned it to us. Thank you very much! It was an enjoyable experience!

Lovely, varied, tasty breakfast selection that catered for most pallets, including hot dishes, an egg station as well as a coffee bar, the Chefs "Chai" tea was super divine. Staff ( front-desk, waitrons, cleaners, security guards, supervisors, valets, chefs) at the Hotel, Coffee Shop and Pizza place were all very friendly, courteous and helpful. They went the extra mile in ensuring that our stay was problem-free. We were really impressed with the overall cleanliness and efficient service delivery. Great location, walking distance to most tourist attractions. I will strongly recommend Hotel 2001 to my family and friends travelling to Maputo....excellent value for money !!!

The Area around is difficult to Navigate....Try not to arrive when is already dark.... The Food is Mundane and Expensive....For the Level of Hotel ...They can do much much Better to UP their game in the Kitchen....

The Staff is so welcoming and Warm Reception, They help you to move luggage from the car to the room and vice versa. They worry that you are parked on a safe Location.

The place is just few minutes away from city centre makes it easier to move around. For those who are Muslims, the mosque is just across the road and you can also be served with halal food at the hotel

-The shower water was not hot. It was lukewarm. terrible -It is advertised that there was a balcony with a view for a slightly higher price, which i reserved. There is NO balcony and my view was straight into a wall of a adjacent building. The staff seemed dumbfounded when i showed them the booking confirmation which stated the above! -I was overcharged on my Bookings.com reserve price with some sort of hidden “city tax”. -My vehicle had to be left out on the street and as i was there for business, I had a lot of valuable items that had to be left overnight outside. There is a guard, but still…I was worried the whole night. -The access street is so bad for a small hatchback or sedan! The potholes are as deep as my knee and it is a one-way, so you have to drive this road and park in front of the hotel. -At the end, i could’ve found another hotel/lodge to stay at for that new price.
