Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Nice hotel layout with 2 pools and spacious breakfast area. The bed was very hard. Windows and window treatments were very dirty. Falling paint from the walls and decor of the room poorly done with terrible painters and finishers. Although the bathroom was finished in a granate the shower baseboards were falling off and very dirty corners. The shower faucet definitely needs replacement and the provided towels although with the hotel logo were totally worn-out. Constant problems with the TV channels.

United KingdomDear Wells Carlton Hotel and Apartments, I recently stayed at your hotel for a few days during which I dined at your poolside restaurant and unfortunately, the experience was both unpleasant and disappointing. While enjoying my meal, I discovered a particle of warping leather in my food. This was not only unsettling but also raised serious concerns about food safety and quality control. What made the situation even worse was that this was my first meal in Nigeria after being away from home for a long time. I was looking forward to this experience, but it ended up ruining it for me. Since then, I’ve found myself feeling paranoid about eating while in Nigeria, which is something no guest should have to endure. The handling of the situation by your staff only added to my frustration. Instead of focusing on what had happened and how to make things right, their main concern seemed to be whether I was still willing to pay for the food. There was no effort to acknowledge the seriousness of the incident or to provide any meaningful resolution. I had hoped for at least a formal apology from management or even a small gesture of goodwill, such as a drink voucher or an offer of a room upgrade, but none of this was offered. This lack of care and attention has left me deeply disappointed and undervalued as a guest. I urge you to take this feedback seriously, review your quality control processes, and train your staff to handle such situations with empathy and professionalism. A commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence is essential for maintaining trust and a positive reputation.
