United KingdomThe staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. They wanted you to book everything yourself online even though there were frequently members of reception staff standing around chatting. Everything costs at this hotel, they don't want to help you unless it's a service that makes them more money. The bar staff were rude, we asked for ice in our drinks and it was like I'd asked for a free bottle of vodka! Other guests were also complaining about their warm drinks - must of had an ice shortage. The breakfast was a disaster area, no staff to clear tables, food constantly empty and gone within seconds of topping it up due to the tiny amounts of eggs and bacon they were serving.
Rooms were nice and the bar area, restaurant and decor were all very well presented. Cleaning staff were friendly and hotel is in a super location for Efteling and has a supermarket next door so easy to pick up supplies.
