Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaMy room and the corridor smelt of garbage or sewerage. Thought the first night that maybe due to heat but the smell remained for all 3 nights. Messaged hotel on Saturday night after returning from F1 as smell still bad. They responded just under 24 hours later that could change rooms...it was 12 hours before check out. Wouldn't have mattered as hotel evacuated at 3am. When I say evacuated, the alarm went off and guests evacuated themselves. No evidence of fire warden and another guest rang the fire brigade. Didn't manage to sleep once we were allowed back into the hotel. Unlike any hotel I have stayed in, there were no instructions in the room re fire escape. Just a number that is on the downstairs door to call in emergency. Luckily my husband always had us explore fire routes when we checked into any hotel. Fire alarms happen...but surely every hotel room in NL needs emergency instructions more than go downstairs and call a number. Broken lift up button. Broken toilet cistern flush button. I was just happy the fire alarms worked. I value my safety and would never stay there again.
Location was excellent. Room facilities as expected for a 2 star hotel.

GermanyThey announce as providing parking: actually they inform you about public paying parking services in the area. The city is very car unfriendly, and parking not of the most convenience.
Location in the very center of town. You came out of the place and you were in front of the Town Hall square, where all commercial streets end.

My friends, my girlfriend and I came together for a holiday. When we were looking for the hotel, huge was our surprise when we realised that it was located in the most perfect place. Everything was near: Markt, the station, some bars, Vrijthof, etc. We then checked in and the room was perfectly clean and nice. The only shadow in the brightness was that the door to the bathroom was made of glass, meaning it was see-through. However, we loved our stay and we highly recommend it!

NetherlandsI booked a double room and received a twin room. The beds were not properly locked (two out of four legs of each bed where wheels) which made that I woke up several times during the night almost laying on the floor, as the beds had moved away from each other. Also, there was a bath, but no plug to keep the water from going down the drain. Wi-Fi did not properly reach the room and had to reconnect every 10 minutes or so
Breakfast was good and the restaurant looked for clean and modern. Location is great and the room (and hallways/elevator) were clean as well.
