They give you a blanket cover and towel at the hotel entrance. You have to put the cover on the blanket yourself. When leaving the hotel, you have to deliver the pillowcase, sheets and towels to the reception. In fact, they make you do some kind of House Keeping. I think this behavior is equivalent to treating all customers as potential thieves. Very sad indeed. Receptionist warned me because I didn't remove the blanket from its cover while delivering the items and said, "Look, I showed you a picture". That day, many people brought the blanket in the same way as I did. Since everyone brought it this way, I think this situation should be discussed by the hotel management. I have never seen such an application anywhere. Bathroom walls were very dirty. As far as I can see it is not cleaned hygienically. There were no papers in the bathroom when i arrived and then i had to ask. Also the bathroom door was making a lot of noise. All the guests in the room were very uncomfortable with this and I told this to the hotel staff, but the person who checked it said only the sound was very annoying and unfortunately nothing more was done.

My room was really hot and since I was placed under the rooftop, it was uncomfortable and even hotter. The bathroom was cleaned everyday but in the morning was a little bit too messy.

We were in the beds under the roof and it was very hot. I was under the ventilation and it was also making a lot of noise. Too bad because the view from the beds above is beautiful

Bad dirty room. The room that touched me 3.01 is used as a deposit of boxes inside the room. There is no elevator at the property. The terrible customer service to the guy with the blond beard from the front desk I asked him please to change my bed because I suffer from knees and he always gave me the upper bed on several occasions from the 3rd level to the 1st level without an elevator so that they could change me of bed which seems to me a bad service and a lack of respect given my situation. Otherwise the bed, bathroom and kitchen are fine. They should improve customer service.

King King hostel is situated on a street full of outdoor bars and restaurants, whose noise went on until the early hours. On top of that, our room was situated next to the stairs, with two access doors which creaked on opening and closing. The combination of the two above made a good nights sleep impossible. We did ask if it was possible to oil the hinges of the doors but nothing was done. The staff were not unfriendly but their priority is definitely not the comfort of their guests.

No air conditioning, but there's a fan in each room. It can get loud at night because of the bars downstairs but free ear plugs are available at the front desk.

Awesome location in Rotterdam in a really lively, fun neighborhood. Free coffee and a bar downstairs. Towels are included as well!

Almost everything went well. Very friendly, understanding and helpful staff. You feel at home, especially the fact that you have access to a kitchen and can do your own thing. Location is great and easily accessible.

The rooms are dirty,its too hot inside that you can sleep,even breath..in half sommer you cant open the windows 😅 Our bads was total wet. Bathroom was dirty. Waiter was rude,big shame for this hostel. Never again!

One of the worst nights sleeping in a hostel. Couldn't sleep well not exactly due the noise downstairs but because 3 men woke up everybody at midnight when they checked in and were quite noisy. At 4:30am the same men woke up woke up everybody because they were talking very loud and even one of them was asking me for my bed number! It seems that reception mixed up the bedrooms. They should be more careful to avoid a similar situation. But still if people arrive very late (at midnight or after) they should respect that other are sleeping, but these people didn't have any consideration.

The location, the kitchen to prepare a meal. The staff was very friendly.

LUGGAGE STOLEN (THEFT FROM ROOM) I was here for Just one day. Upon checkinn i left my stuff in the lock with a big padlock. After 2 hrs i came back lock was broken. My passport and laptop was stolen from the safe. They failed to identify the thief even with a recorded video. Only person with Key Card could access the room. So it can be a roommate which were two at the time of checkinn OR a hostel employee. I cannot be sure as they never showed me the video of person who came after me. Long Story Short i had to travel back to my country to get a new passport and almost suffered 3000$ loss for this 30$ booking (for Dell Laptop being stolen and tickets to travel back). They did helped me to stay for free for 3 nights which i appreciate and the staff was nice. But this doesnt compensate the loss and trauma i suffered. They assured me they will contct back if they found anything which i am sure it wont be possible. Because nothing was done until my stay to catch the thief even with a video footage available.

Excellent hostel! The prime location, the lovely staff, the chill vibe, the spacious room, all the equipement you'd need, the big kitchen; in summary, it was the best hostel I have stayed at in this trip across Europe.

noisy, while most of the street noise will be blocked by the windows, you can still hear the footsteps of the people on the floor above (sounds like they were playing basketball). secondly, the bed was not the most comfortable (thin mattress and very flat pillow)

The facilities where pretty out of date the shower rooms being pretty grim and I understand it is a hostel but I had extremely difficult staying in the upper bunk in onw of the dormatraties when I asked the staff they would always say they where fully booked even though there where empty bunks avaliable when I asked
