Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaThe shared toilet didn’t have any hand soap or paper towel to dry hands. The quadruple room we booked, had an odour of a dead rodent or someone’s incredibly stinky feet. The walls were dirty and an extra pillow in the cabinet within that room, was stained yellow.
The proximity to everything Amsterdam was wonderful!

Great location, close to central station and lots of restaurants and bars. super helpful that we could store our luggage during the day - thank you! it was the cheapest place we could find well in advance for a family of four.

United KingdomFirst ip, before arrival my passport was running out so they wouldn't let me fly so I tried calling hotel but couldn't get through so sent message explaining this and asked to change the room to a double,but got no reply and when my brother and cousin arrived they were told no there was nothing you could do,so I had to pay €104 for a room I never got to see. My brother said the room was like shoe box with bunk bed n single,(nothing like the picture shows) the TV didn't work only 1 channel and was German. Going to toilet was atrocious as it was so far away from the room(practically other side of hotel). Plug sockets not working in room. Was relaying on WIFI but wasn't told they had it and there was no signs up to say they had it. The staff weren't very helpful and I would personally say they were bit arrogant.

The shower was nice, but was at the end of a fairly long corridor and the stairs were very steep. The side door (which you were meant to come in if you were coming back at night) didnt work at all and we had to bang on the front door and get someone from reception open the door. It was a little bit tatty - but it did the job. In all honesty it was good value for money.
The locaiton was great, the room was nice and the beds were comfy. It obviously was small and not particularly luxurious but you get what you pay for I guess. United KingdomHotel was ok, not convinced the towels had been washed from the previous use although they was changed, don’t give them the deposit they want when you arrive as cash as when you leave they will give you a story about no cash onsite and had to wait 3 weeks to get it back after having to give all of my personal details apart from my waist size to get it transferred back with the worst exchange rate I’ve seen!!
