Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Room was very modern, comfortable, with a good size, and with a nice sitting and work nook. Very nice bathroom space. Metro station near hotel, and close to Amsterdam city center. Shops available nearby. Good location.

United StatesThe ipad controls the thermostat and my husband accidentally got the main screen stuck on a screenshot. Then we couldn't use to to cool the room down, which would have been nice. User error though.
My husband and I flew in and had terrible jet lag. Ruby Emma let us check in at noon, which was great. We rented bikes from the hotel and rode around Amsterdam after getting a cappuccino from the bar. That night, we slept so well with the black out windows, that we accidentally slept until 5pm! We were supposed to check out at 11 am, and the staff were SO nice to us about it. They charged us 35 euros as a late checkout fee, and we were on our way. The hotel is close enough to downtown that you can either walk to the metro or ride a bike.

SwedenThe breakfast could be improved,more variety to include bacon,scrambled eggs and sausage e.t.c But it was still sufficient and enjoyable. No complaints really.
The hotel is absloutely beautiful. The interior of the room is my favourite aspect of the hotel. The train station is 3 minutes walk from the hotel,so it was easy to get to the Central Station,no hustle at all and no need for taxis. There is so much convenience.

That is very modern and private, loved the fact that has 5lifts and we never shared or waited for the lift. The room is very comfortable and has lots of space. Loved the iPad control for the lights and curtains.

United KingdomMy interaction with the woman at reception was just awful. I think her name was Helen. I arrived not feeling well and asked if it was possible to get my room earlier than my check-in time (I arrived at 10am and check-in was 3pm) and she said there were no available rooms at all. Then I said I was happy to pay a bit more as I was truly feeling terrible and needed to lie down, and then magically a room was available! If I hadn’t mentioned money she couldn’t have cared less to make me feel welcome or help me in any way, or offer any alternative. The stay would have been perfect if it weren’t for this person. I think if you work in hospitality, you should be a bit nicer to people.
Beautifully designed room with everything you might need. Impeccably clean. Great view. Everything in the room is controlled through an iPad, from the lights to the air conditioning and even the blinds! A bit far from the city centre but very well connected via the metro station 5 mins away.

United KingdomDuring our 3 night stay our room was never cleaned. Now there is a "go green" option at check-in whereby you agree to not have your towels changed/room cleared (cant remember which) if your stay is under 3 days. In exchange you'd receive a free cocktail at the bar. We decided to opt out but our bed was never made, dirty cups/glasses not replaced and neither were our towels. Quite frankly I don't think anyone visited our room. Housekeeping did attempt to come in on our second night but we were in the middle of getting dressed to go out for dinner and asked that they come back later when we were out - but no one did.
Resident room was very spacious. The L-shape design with floor to ceiling windows offered some truly breath-taking views from almost anywhere in the room. We liked the industrial finish with contemporary furnishings. iPad operated lighting had several mood settings and there were loads of TV viewing options incl. apple TV and Chromecast for those rainy Amsterdam days. Window shutters also operated by the iPad made it easy to lock out the sunlight for those lazy lay-in mornings. The location was great for hassle -free travel in and out of the city. Nice local restaurants and a convenience store 5 mins walk away. Shower, bed, pillow, duvet - all great!
