There were no towels in the room so we had to look for the owner to get them and only in the morning as we couldn't find him at night (there is no clear reception). The window didn't close properly so we had bugs in the room. The room did not have any space to open our luggage. The kitchen was missing key things like a sponge to wash the dishes or kitchen towels.

Great service at check in. The owner was really flexible and nice and let us check in a little after 10pm and check out a little after 11am which was very needed and appreciated. Nice kitchen to cook and prepare sandwiches for the road. The owner was also really nice and upgraded our room at no additional cost!

For strange unknown reasons, our initial booking was cancelled at the very last minute by the property (or booking.com site). After wasting time try to sort out, we somehow made another booking since there are still rooms available anyhow. Turn out the manager is a nice guy and we never know why that was happened. It may not really suitable for people who are not comfortable with the camping ground vibe, but to stay there just one night is fine with us.

Upon arrival we were informed that our cabin was not available. What happened was that the owner had received a new reservation that required all cabins for a big group, making it financially more interesting to throw us out and have full occupancy. Admittedly he offered us an alternative (room instead of cabin). Given the poor state of the room and the untrusty nature of the owner, we decided not to accept and booked an accommodation a few meters further down the road. The owner paid the price difference between our original (cancelled) booking and the new booking. Fortunately, we had arrived earlier than expected so that we still had some time to search for alternatives. Even so, this kind of stress is something that doesn't want to experience during a road trip. Worse, reading the comments from other customers, we are not the only ones that experiences an "unfortunate overbooking". (The booking was never officially cancelled, by the way.) Furthermore "Deluxe Bungalow" is very misleading for what we found at the premises, to say the least. Update: a few minutes after posting this review we already received multiple threats by phone from the owner. Be warned.

First and foremost hospitality and welcoming was great. A place for whatever needs for short stays and cheap. The kitchen was spesifically clean and they frequently clean all the time.

Very run down. Overgrown and maintained to the minimum required standard. Most potential for improvement is the little dock by the sea. This could be so awesome, but the dock is partially closed and falling apart, overgrown in algae, dirty and only has an improvised ladder tied to the dock with rope. Not great if you want to swim. Overall this place is cheap, and it shows.

Cosy little cottage. Has what you need. Clean. And some charming details like old beautiful dinner plates. Trying to fit four people in is -well - doable, but not recommended. Old fashioned and still charming. Lovely view from some of the cottages. Right by the sea. Fair value. It's cheap compared to other camping cottages. Recommended if price is a concern. Nice area if you take day trips, and like hiking. Super market close by. Owner was helpful with advice and tips for activities and places to visit. ETA: When booking this accomodation through booking.com this bungalow was suggested for 4 adults. As owner has explained in his response, this is not ideal. I suggest 3 adults at the most for the deluxe bungalow.

Very friendly and helpful host who makes an effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are nice and very clean. The location is convent close to the ferry terminal with a nice view of the water and a big garden.

Jaroslaw the host was an amazing guy! He was very welcoming and very approachable during the whole stay. He even offered to make me coffee, tea or even yoghurt with fruit in the morning. He was willing to help me out with some printing issues which I had, which was very kind. My room was upgraded for free which was amazing! The view from the camping is also amazing, it sits right on the fjord. Recommend!

Very friendly, the manager Jarik (Jaroslaw) was very approachable and helpful, he even upgraded us, as we booked a room with twin beds and he only had a double bed room available, so he gave us a single room free of charge. Can't recommend enough!

great location by the fjords and easily accessible to the main Highway from Odda to Stavanger. It was a perfect stop to rest up after a long day of hiking and continuing my journey. the hosts even upgraded my room with a private shower. super nice of them.

This is not just staying overnight. This is an experience. Staff is extremely friendly and makes sure you have all you need. You can borrow fishing rods or bikes. The view is beautiful and the location perfect to get the ferry. Highly recommended.

We had a really nice stay and a warm welcome with cookies and friendly words. Jarek has been a great host and provided many ideas for hikes and things to do in the area. The cabin is clean and very cosy and there is a supermarket right around the corner. Great place to stay for the Preikestolen hike or other trips in the area! Big recommendation!

Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed this trip. We were welcomed by a very nice and kind older man, who took care of us, everything we needed. Also the locality was good, near sea. Very quiet place. We went from hiking next day and this man prepared a really delicios norway breakfast. I really recommend :)

Excellent place and excellent care. High recommend for all seasons. You can do many activities or simply disconnect looking at the landscape. Cabin is comfortable and cozy. The owner is very kind.

Unfortunately the Wifi was only in the main building and close on the yard, so we could use wife only sitting in the car.

We get the cabin apartment near the main building. At arriving the owner made the fire in the stove, the atmosphere and the view on the ferry was nice.

Very kind people. Amazing place to stay. Wonderful fjord view. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade. The only problem was we stayed here for one night only. Such a cozy place. We loved it.
