It was my misunderstanding to book a room without an attached washroom. Though the washroom facility was more than enough, it was outside the room. Maybe it's nothing, but sometimes I felt somewhat shy and disturbed to get out of the room just to use the washroom. Considering the facility we were provided with, the rent was a bit high. However, this is true for every hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu.

It was my first time visiting Nepal and I chose to stay in the Thamel area. The hotel is in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu, and you can get everything just by getting down from the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and cordial. We haven't got any negative response from them. They keep the hotel very neat and clean.

A cafetiere or filter of the excellent Nepali coffee would be nice, in order to fully appreciate the garden.

The location is great, in the middle of Thamel. Rooms are comfortable and airy, some with balconies facing the sun. Breakfast is good: eggs, potatoes/toast/croissants sometimes, juice, yoghurt, cornflakes, sometimes other varieties... Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Sohan. Pleasant garden with grass, a shelter from sun or rain.

There is a small shop just in the gate of the stay. People drink there , speak nuisances all night and then disturb the peace. Expect this everything is very good.

We were in a dark room with no windows that looked very different to the pictures on Airbnb. Also a very small and moldy shared bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet, away from the busy streets, even has a garden.

We stayed almost 2weeks in this hotel. Personal was nice and friendly. Location is very good. Breakfast was delicious, however our stay was longer, it was repeated. Nice garden with possibility to eat breakfast in terrace. The room was clean. The cleanliness of the shared bathroom also depends on the other guests - some people didn't clean up after themselves. The staff cleaned the bathroom.

Hotel was not that clean, it was really hard for me to use the towels and sleep in this bed, it WAS SO OLD and wasn't clean. The room is really different from the photos 🤔! It's almost another hotel 10 years older then the photos. There was some small 🪳 in the bathroom and I didn't have private bathroom.

very dissapointed with this hotel. we booked it for 2 nights (group of 4) and it was far from convenient. only the location & spacious "garden" were right. otherwise I can't find more pros, lots of cons though. main one: no hot water. I can understand some properties rely on solar panels in Nepal. but hey, what do I care as a hotel client? this is not some backpacker joint, only mid-level accommodation in the heart of a capital city, at least that's how they advertise. all other places we've stayed in (even simple himalayan teahouses) had at least one gas heated shower cabin to be shared by guests in case when panels don't generate energy. there was nothing like that in Acme and the staff seem not to care about it at all, like hot water was some crazy western invention. they shrug their arms, not willing to find any solution at all. eventually we proposed buckets with hot water, but it wasn't like they were given willingly. it was rather a painful and time consuming activity to boil it for us. so yeah, staff of Acme was far from hospitable. note that the hotel is also poorly soundproofed. you can hear music from pubs next door, loud talks from your neighbours and tons of pigeons, that actually live behind your window - something to be taken care of by any decent hotel. well, Acme isn't one

Staff were amazing, especially Askoh who is super helpful, friendly, professional and has a big wonderful smile all the time. The room was clean, well maintained, spacious enough with windows for natural light facing their window. Breakfasts were large and well prepared.

Nightclub music played throughout Thamel until 4 am. It’s extremely loud. I wore earphones to bed each night and played music all night which drowned the nightclub noise out somewhat. Nightclub scene is really bad for serious spending tourists. Noisy nightclubs are ok for kids and teenagers.

This is a wonderful hotel overlooking a garden with rooms filled with sunshine in Thamel. Breakfast is simple but filling and it’s all you need all day.

Extremely disappointed while checking out. I booked the hotel through booking.com for 30$ after the hotel reception upgraded without informing us. However the last stage he informed me to pay a total of 45$ for two days. Other things are ok but not what we expected. The amount which we paid for two nights is unfair. Also, the room's condition is not maintained well. Bathroom needs to be clean and the cupboard should be clean. Also, the hotel needs to improve its menus. There is no menu at all.

Outside of the hotel very beautiful and amazing environment. Team is very friendly and helpful.
