How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The rooms are bad. The wall needs to be repaired. Hot water is not available all the time. Bedsheets needs to be replaced.
The staff are good, decent and polite. They have a good sense of hospitality.

1. Room was small. We barely had space to place our luggage or walk around the room. Yet still acceptable that we had a balcony. 2. There was this one staff of the restaurant who was a nuisance and wouldn't just shut up. He was always just cooking up random stories instead of taking orders or properly serving the dishes.
1. We stayed in the hotel for 1night (15th Sept 2023 - 16th Sept 2023) and then left for ABC. We had booked the hotel again for 24th Sept 2023, however we arrived from our Trek early on 22nd. The hotel staffs were kind enough to arrange rooms for us while giving us the same rate despite Booking.com prices were much higher. 2. Hotel staffs were nice enough to safekeep our stuffs in the hotel for 6days while we were in the trek. 3. The hotel owner was present most of the time in the hotel and he had provided us with several tips and suggestions, all of which had made our day during the 4day stay. 4. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. 5. Great location. The hotel was located on 15th Street, which is on the heart of Lakeside. We had everything near us within 5min walking distance. 6. The cleaning ladies were amazing. They would clean the room really well everyday and also even neatly fold our clothes or hang them in the closet. 7. The tour desk operator was a sweetheart 8. Every room had their designated WiFi router.

Limited type of food option in breakfast , more or less same all 3 days ....opted for rooms on higher floor ( for better view) , no elevator and becomes difficult to climb floors every now and than in a day.
Location of the property, room with a balcony and view. Lake is just a minute walk.

NO elevator in entire 4 story hotel ! Provided 2 single beds instead of 1 double. Electric points for charging are in bed condition.
Location is good. Staff is very good. Breakfast Tea is excellent.

Right from the front desk everything was just perfect. Its located in the city of city where everything is easily accessible even in the middle of the night. For me, the view from my bed was so amazing as I could see the cloudy mountain as soon I get up from the bed. altogether, I had a very pleasant stay at Crystal Palace and would definitely visit again in the future.

The staff were so courteous during my stay especially Mr.MADAN who was so kind enough to arrange the ancillary services as soon as I asked. Also the guys at the restaurant were so nice. Buffet breakfast was also very nice 👍 Altogether I had a very pleasant stay in Pokhara at Crystal Palace.

No lift. Breakfast served much later than stated time. Room doesn't have proper light and back up generator for power failure.
Room is ok but the beds and bedsheets could have been better. We checked a few rooms before we moved in to our own and not all rooms are maintained the same way. Breakfast was served much later than the stated time.the place has no lift which was a problem for me.
