How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The listing is a bit misleading in terms of mountain view and balcony. Yes I had a balcony but the balcony facing the mountains is communal
It was the young manager here who really made the difference to my stay, he could not have been more helpful and really went over and above expecttions in terms of service. The bed was comfortable and the wifi good

The water took a while to heat up to a tolerable level. The wifi cut-off suddenly at night :( There was only one power outlet that I was able to use for charging our phones.
The beds were comfy. The room was clean. The food was good. We had the veg chowmein and momos. And the young man at front desk was very helpful. The terrace area is nice. I bet it has a gorgeous view of the mountains when it's not cloudy out.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. The sunrise can be nicely observed from the terrace and the food is also tasty. Definitely recommend, very good value for money.

I went there with my wife and two children in the winter season. December. Very cold. The only problem we faced was faulty hot water connection. They repeatedly said that repairing work is going on and soon will be resolved. But finally did not.........
Cleanliness, comfortable and friendly staff. The food was good and the price was reasonable. .

The bed was what I disliked the most. The bed was like sleeping on a brick, up there with the most uncomfortable bed I’ve stayed in while travelling across Nepal and India. Felt a bit like faulty towers. The two young lads working I sensed they didn’t really know what they were doing. Breakfast was a bit of a running joke. Photos definitely look better on here than in person. No hot water.
Nice views from the back of the hotel. Room was okay, bit rough round the edges but for the price paid it’s what you get I guess.

The property was amazing with a wonderful mountain view . The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The local food was amazing . The rooftop was amazing.

the balcony of the standard rooms are practically unusable as they face the road and very dusty. other than that, all good.
the main guy at the reception is wonderful! (the backup person, not at all). If you want intend to stay here longer, you should consider the 'Family Room' with the mountain view. Alternatively there is a shared terrace at the top floor for everyone. Room has mosquito nets.

The food they delivered was worst. After serving nepali food they even bother to ask for if any thing was needed. Actually the staffs disappeared even cant call and contact them

A wonderful hotel in a great location. We were lucky to have very clear weather when we were there, and the views of the Himalayan mountains from the terrace were incredible. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

I think that if you are going to open during the winter months , you should provide heating and floor coverings . It was three degrees outside during my stay , and probably not much warmer inside my room , adding somewhat to my discomfort . Also when you charge these prices I think you could do better than offer sweetened gelatine with food colouring to spread on your toast in the morning . The general indifference of the staff added nothing to my stay , which made me question the Booking.com award certificates on the wall , perhaps there has been a change in ownership ?

There was no hot water in the room. It took me an hour to and 3 attempts to make the staff move an do something with the water and later it appeared that the water heater was broken. They offered me to bring a bucket so I could take a shower. I said 'no thank you' and left for a different hotel. By the way, there is no everest view from the room, you have to actually get out the room, the room balcony is overlooking the dusty and bumpy road. Not recommended.
