There’s nothing to dislike - as long as the dog that trekked to Dhulikel with us got home safely.

We were lucky and we got a clear day with a view of Everest, though there’s no guarantee. Sambar and Krishna were wonderful - they could not have been more kind or helpful. We were in Nagarkot for five nights and we didn’t feel any need to eat anywhere else. It’s the perfect place to stay.

I just wish the blankets were warmer, nothing else comes to mind.

A fantastic place to stay in Nagarkot. The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. We were a bit concerned if we'd be warm enough at night, but the host provided us with some extra blankets and we slept very well! We decided to wake up early for a sunrise, and we could literally just watch it from our windows/balcony. We also loved the restaurant - very tasty food, a good mix of Nepalese and Western cuisine. During the evening, the host grabbed a guitar and played for us, which was so fun! I also recommend the hot chocolate and banana pancake for breakfast, delicious.

It was a comfort clean hotel. Check in and out was smooth and seamless. This isn’t a 5 star hotel. If you want large rooms, with clean comfortable beds, wifi , a smart TV and clean bathroom. then this property is ideal. The food we enjoyed there was much better then the other offerings in town.

Food service time can be made at least in a decent time period The hotel managers clearly make a point of treating Nepali guests a little inferiorly, I should say.

it gets cold in the mountains. Nothing to do with the property but come prepared for that.

The staff make the whole experience here incredible. I was a solo woman traveller and they made every effort to make me feel safe and welcome. we celebrated Diwali together and they made it an incredible experience. Dumbar the manager is well knowledged about the area and gave me some good hikes to go on. He even took me on a motorcycle ride to the view tower and to tour around. He provided me with his phone number in case I got lost on my hikes. Bishal at the front desk went out of his way to make everyone feel good and welcome at the hotel. Morning sunrise from the terrace was incredible. This truly was the highlight of my time in Nepal..

Someone was on phone in the stairs for more than one hour and we were hearing everything in the room.

The staff was friendly. The view from the room was so beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was good.
