Dorm is upstairs! So get ready to get to the top of the building every time you arrive! (Good training 🤣). Also on new years day (nepalí one) there was a bit of disorganization with beds and rooms, but I guess it's because of t'he situation

Lockers aren't there for now but the owner explained about his plans to include this very soon. It's an affordable and genuinely homely place away from home.

The toilet seats in all the rooms are broken or missing and in one of the rooms, flush doesn't work (make sure to check before taking it)

Amazing value for money! Unbeatable price for the room. Just a family trying to do their best to keep the hostel running to make up losses incurred due to pandemic. The lady was very friendly and helpful. This is also in a pretty good location, although not right on the lakeside, it's very close walking distance away and also from good restaurants. Spacious clean rooms and bathrooms. I stayed in 3 different rooms throughout my stay..before and after my trek.

We stayed almost 2 weeks and we really enjoyed the place. The family running the place is very warm, welcoming and helpful. The room and attached bathroom were spacious and clean. The location was perfect near the lakeside but also in a bit more quiet spot. It's very good value in comparison to other places in Pokhara. We could also leave our bags for a few weeks while doing the Annapurna circuit which was really handy. I recommend.

It would be nice to have a common area for guests to hang out and interact.. and access to a kitchen or at least a cattle to boil water (although Maya was immediately available when I needed something from there).

Maya (owner) is a lovely lady which will make everything to make you have a great stay ! Really friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms & bathrooms and super comfy beds !

No straight road towards the hotel.

The staffs are so friendly and the room was exceptionally good and quite clean compare to the price. The bathroom was good with hot shower facilities and the room wes great! The location is so near to the north lake side. Highly recommended for any kind of travelers.

It was a bit hard to find the place but how beautiful it is situated made up for it. So much green around and i am sure there is somewhere a path up the hill to see all the surroundings.

Forest Way Backpackers should definitely be a better choice to solo travellers and family travellers also, the rooms are quite clean and hygiene, the behavior of the owner and her family and also the stuffs are quite hospitable. The rooftop view of lake and mountains are awesome. Price is very reasonable and the services exceeded my expectations.Personally i like this place a lot . You must give a try if you ever come in Pokhara.
