honestly , rooms are pretty decent and don’t have any bad things to say about it , it’s just perfect how they built the garden around the hostel

the tropical garden is definitely the highlight of this hostel and they got few hammocks in the garden , just perfect spot to take morning sun with a book or coffee in your hand

I had a fantastic two night stay at GauriShankar Backpackers Hostel. The hostel has a beautiful garden, perfect for relaxing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. All the essential amenities were available, making my stay comfortable. A special highlight was meeting their adorable dogs, Leo and Kali—be sure to say hi to them! Highly recommend this place for backpackers looking for a cozy and social stay.

Very atmospheric place. It is located not far from Lakeside. There is a nice and spacious courtyard where you can chat with travelers from different countries. Communication usually takes place until late evening, so it can be a little noisy. It is not critical for me. For backpackers and travelers, it is a great place.

Its kind of a party hostel so if u r upto late night parties this is for you …but don’t book if you want to sleep peacefully…mainly the staffs they do party all night

We stayed here before we left for our trek, and we were able to rent high quality gear from here and leave our bags behind while we were gone. They have a really nice courtyard to hang out and food, coffee, and beer is available. We also got a lot of recommendations about our trek from the staff. Rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean! Very cute dog too

The stuff was very friendly and help me with all my trekking plans, information, booking bus tickets, storage for my baggage, loundry, etc. They have a small bar/cafe but the atmosphere is really good, nice common areas, yoga hall, drinking water disposal.

Great hosts, really nice people who helped us with everything we needed. The bar is always open with cheap draft beer and good vibes. Great room and great location.

Really beautiful, spacious and clean hostel in Pokhara. The beds are super comfortable, and the garden with the lush green trees is amazing. The staff is very helpful , especially David at the bar is such a friendly and cool guy. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to come back for drinks or staying after our hike , we would have loved to spend some more time with him. Definitely recommended!

In a room of 4 bunks there are 6 and just one fan, it's hot in Pokhara, not everyone is good with heat, least get a small fan for each bed.

Friendly faces, amazing place, It's like a second home for me, my best place in pokhara just had to pay to stay, an astronising garden you could just stay there all day and could never be too much. A place of Gauri and Shankar. Oo watch out for the butterfly in the garden it's always a good day. Lastly, I will always miss you guys ❤️
