Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandRooms are not automatically cleaned every day, only upon request. This information was not easily available: we had to spot it from the notice board in the lobby. The shower had only warm(ish) but not hot water late in the evenings. The toilet paper supply in a family room (with several persons) was low.
The hotel is located in a peaceful environment on the outskirts of Sauraha village. Reaching the village was easy by foot and by tuktuk. A small shop selling refreshments and snacks is right across the street. The hotel’s restaurant serves continental, local and Chinese dishes. We did not get sick from the restaurant’s food. The staff in the restaurant are very polite and friendly. Our room was clean and the beds more comfortable than in other hotels that we have stayed in in Nepal. The hotel offerred a nice, short cultural program (local dance show) every second day in the garden right after sunset. It was also possible to purchase ”jungle activities” from the hotel reception. The garden has walls around it and feels safe with children.

NetherlandsKeep in mind it’s a little further from the village Sauraha, but this wasn’t a problem for us since we booked all the activities with the hotel.
Had an amazing stay at this beautiful and peaceful hotel with very comfortable rooms with balcony. The staff is truly amazing and made us feel very welcome. Manager Binod K. Chaudhary arranged a jeep safari and canoeing right when we arrived. The restaurant has truly delicious meals and the staff are super friendly and will help you make the best out of your stay. Lastly, especially the bathroom in the room was amazing!

BelgiumHands down the best Hotel I stayed in in Nepal during my 6 months here. Beautiful hotel, very well maintained, from rooms to gardens to XL pool. The staff were very well trained and professionals. A big shout out to all of them for providing such a great service. The hotel is a 30 min walk away from the village, on our way back one evening the locals pointed us out to some rhino's just on the other side of fence. Nice spacious rooms with modern clean bathroom, I can fully recommend staying here!

IndiaMr. Tara, manager of the restaurant went above and beyond all our expectations in preparing and serving us Pure Veg JAIN food with all our specifications. Truly appreciate the effort. The hotel staff was warm and cordial. However we found the receptionists abit less interested in giving us clarity on all our questions and did not provide the best rates for all safari and canoeing experience. There is another place just opposite the hotel run by another local which provides the same services at more reasonable prices. Overall a decent experience.

United StatesI wish we saw more animals on the safari, but it is nature, the hotel had no control over what that
The staff was really helpful. My friend and I were a bit crunched for time and they were able to pick us up from the airport, take us on a private safari and a private sunrise bird watching walk with a guide. And then also coordinated our transfer to Lumini. Everything was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

ItalyStaff are a bit "business-oriented" but kind and helpful, food can be improved at both breakfast and dinner, pool area would need some renovation.
Wonderful location in the rural area around 2km walking distance from the village (super nice walk). Free pick-up and drop-off from/to the bus station. Very large, well maintained and quiet room, comfortable bed, 24/7 hot water, mosquitoes net and repellent, 2 lt bottled water provided every day, and even flip-flops. Staff booked a Swift bus to Pokhara that wasn't very good (my back still feels it), but that might have been the only option and roads were under construction along the way.

IranDue to having stairs for reaching the rooms even for first floor, it is not suitable for people with disabilities. (May be the hotel has a plan for it which I am not aware of)
I stayed there for 3 nights, the room were clean and spacious. The staff were very polite. The AC in the the room was great. Due to the weak electricity of Saurah the hotel had a great backup generator. Overall the hotel was nice and good and I would recommend it to other tourists. They even had free shuttle to and from the bus station.

United KingdomWe had a phenomenal time at Green Park. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, as was lunch and dinner. All of the staff at the restaurant were helpful and Prashant was fantastic! The hotel has lots of safari options available which are reasonably priced, frequent and incredible. The guides who work for the hotel are extremely knowledgeable which made the safari experience really interesting. I would recommend Green Park to anyone visiting Chitwan. It truly was a fantastic place to stay where we could relax and experience some awesome nature.
