Best location. With the most beautiful view ever:) the family was really kind and their food (breakfast & dinner) was really tasty! Our room had an epic view and we had the best sunset! Also, they helped us book our bus tickets and they proposed some nice hikes around the area

Sometimes there was a lot of noise of slamming doors but that was just for a moment and for the rest it was very quiet and peaceful.

Definitely one the better places I stayed at in Nepal. The room had a view on two sides which was really nice! The family that runs it is so kind and helpful. The food is really tasty and they have plenty of option to enjoy in the restaurant with a view. The shower was nice and warm. The water did take some time to warm up, but that's okay, you are also a bit higher up. When I left I forgot a cable in the room and the gentlemen was so fast to follow me with his scooter to bring me back the cable. They are really sweet people.

Hotel High Ground Inn is located in a breathtaking spot with panoramic mountain views. The sunset from the room window is mesmerizing. The owner is friendly, and rooms are clean, though adding an air conditioner and geyser would enhance comfort.

I believed the good recommendations, and I wasn't dissapointed. They gave me a free upgrade, a room with a tiny nice balcony with phantastic view. The Hotel is perfect for going up to the tower at sunrise, for sunset I had not to leave my room!

This place deserves all the praise it can get! My stay here has been the highlight of my entire trip to Nepal. Even though I still have a few days left on this journey, I’m certain nothing will surpass the experience I had here. The credit for this unforgettable stay goes entirely to Bikas Ji, the incredible host and owner of this beautiful property in Sarangkot. In all my travels, I’ve never encountered a host as warm and accommodating. Bikas Ji truly went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary and memorable. Due to a broken road leading to the hotel, our car couldn’t reach the property. However, Bikas Ji didn’t let this inconvenience dampen our spirits. He personally carried our heavy luggage on his scooter, making two trips to bring everything up to the hotel. He extended the same thoughtful gesture during our departure as well. Throughout our stay, both he and his wife took exceptional care of us. The hotel itself was charming. While the rooms were a bit small, they were cozy and came with balconies offering breathtaking views of the valley and a side glimpse of the snow peaks. The terrace, however, was the true highlight. With its panoramic views, it was the perfect spot to relax with a cup of Masala Tea on a clear, sunny day. The food was another standout feature. We had all our meals at the hotel, and every dish was exceptional. The Chicken Thakali was among the best I’ve ever had, and the Chicken Momos were absolutely delicious. Breakfast, though simple, was tasty and customized to our liking. I requested Fried Noodles instead of the usual bread, butter, and eggs, and they happily obliged. Even the coffee was delightful. Overall, this stay was an incredible value for money. The cozy rooms, breathtaking views, and heartfelt hospitality made it a truly unforgettable experience.

The host went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, assisting us in organizing adventure activities and ensuring we were comfortable throughout. The stay was reasonably priced, offering incredible value for the hospitality and amenities provided. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view from our room—absolutely stunning and worth every moment. It felt like a dream to wake up to such beauty. The views from the terrace were amazing. Very short walk from sunrise viewpoint. The room was spotless clean and beds were comfy. The stuff is very friendly and kind. The owner helped us arrange a taxi to take us back to Pokhara. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. Apart from the breakfast included with our stay, we had dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had during our stay in nepal! Highly recommend it. Great value for money too.

Nothing, it was a great stay at a reasonable price.

We stayed at the High ground Inn for 3 nights during the Tihar festival and had the most amazing stay. We were looked after very well by the hosts, who helped us to quickly book activities such as paragliding. The food cooked at the inn was delicious that we ate there most nights as they had such a great selection. Also the views from the top balcony were incredible that we spent most of our stay relaxing on the rooftop seating and taking in the view. All the hosts were super friendly and I would recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, affordable stay with lovely people to look after you… with great views.

Sometimes there was a bathroom smell, but you can just close the door and it stays there so it's not really a problem

The staff is nice, the room was good and the view is amazing. I really recommend the food, it's good and it's safe, unlike some of the restaurants in the neighborhood that made me sick.
