We primarily booked this hotel for the views, but unfortunately, during our stay, the smoke was too thick, and we couldn’t see any mountains. The room itself was comfortable, with cozy beds and large panoramic windows — which would have been perfect if the weather had been clearer. The location is a bit out of the way if you want to explore the city, but it’s ideal if you’re looking to relax and unwind without venturing far. The hotel offers a swimming pool, gym, onsite restaurant, and a spa. Breakfast was good, with a standard selection: bread, fruits, eggs made to order, cornflakes, some Nepali dishes, and drinks. From the main menu, I tried the Asian salad, which wasn’t to my taste, but my friend had the momo, which was tasty. We also tried the massages at the onsite spa. The room didn’t match the hotel’s aesthetic and felt a bit uncomfortable, with its harsh overhead lighting and plain walls. While lying down, I had to look at cords hidden under the table right in front of me. There was no background music, so the focus shifted to the sounds of goats, dogs, and people talking outside — along with the masseur yawning. While the massage itself was good, it took a while to relax due to these distractions. The staff, however, were all lovely and friendly. Kshitiz was especially helpful and kind. Overall, this hotel could be a great choice in the right weather for the views, but there are a few aspects that could be improved for a more relaxing experience.

Due to haze, there was no view of the mountains at sunset or sunrise

Fantastic view from the room with balcony, spacious room, enjoyed the bath, very comfortable & loved the swimming pool. Also a very good breakfast . And sparkling lights of Pokhara in the nighttime

We liked the overall ambience of the hotel. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The view point on the sixth floor with the serving of tea/coffee is one of the finest parts of the hotel. The behaviour of the everyone in the hotel is very much congenial. I appreciate all their support thought out the stay.

If you request a taxi from/to Pokhara from the hotel, it will be very expensive. Rather use the shuttle if you can. Another option, like we did, is to negotiate with one of the taxi drivers that are waiting at the street where the bus from Kathmandu drops you off, and get his service during your whole stay.

You choose this hotel for the view. And it's totally worth it. It's true that this is halfway between Pokhara and the viewpoint in Sarangkot, and the latter is higher and closer to the Annapurna range, but nothing compares with the comfort of having the view all for yourself from your room or, even better, from the rooftop. The hotel itself is not bad, but it's a bit dull, nothing remarkable. The staff is super nice and the restaurant is excellent, the food was great and dessert even better. And that's really important since there's nowhere else to eat around this place. But again, it's all about the view.

The Himalayan Front Hotel is a beautiful facility with very kind staff. I am sad I was only able to stay one night but loved the view from my room, friendly and open staff members, and closeness to fun activities in Pokhara. Will definitely return again! Thank you again for the very sweet “see you again” cake.

There isn't much I didn't like. The bed sheet had few stains on the bottom side of bed. Thats mostly it.

view was great. We stayed at mountain view room. If I were to stay there again, I would rather stay at rooms with balcony, those rooms were oriented best to see the himalayas.

The only thing I missed after a long trip was a sauna, but that didn’t change my high opinion of this hotel in the slightest

This is probably the hotel with the best mountain views, especially of Annapurna. Every spot—whether it’s your room, the restaurant, pool, lounge, or rooftop—offers a full-width view of the mountains. I got the best Annapurna photos right from our room! The back of the hotel opens up to lush, semi-tropical greenery, creating such a unique contrast. The hallways are beautifully designed, with a bit of a colonial feel. Combined with the tropical forest, it gave me flashbacks of Brazil and other central American countries—a unique mix of vibes. It’s also incredibly peaceful here, and the staff are wonderful. Great place to stay
