Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JapanServing of food after ordering during breakfast can be faster. The room lights can be changed to warm lights rather than white lights.
The perfect location to see the Annapurna range and the valley below. However, the weather needs to be good to view that. The rooftop balcony is an excellent area to catch the sunrise. The quietness outside of the city is an additional advantage to feel the nature.

BangladeshI had a great time at Himalayan front. If you want the majestic view of the Arnapurna range it's the hotel to stay. The hotel stuff were just outstanding. Ramesh Sapkota, the manager helped me get the best experience throughout my journey. He was in contact with me even before I reached Nepal and assisted me going beyond his scope of work. I was so impressed that I added him as a friend on Facebook after I reached home. I will strongly recommend my family & friends to stay at this hotel if it's their first visit to Pokhara.

United KingdomYou will have to get a taxi to get to most places but that can’t be helped. There were a couple of tiny issues with plug sockets in the room, couldn’t get most of them to work but they lent us an extension lead for the one that did so we could charge our phones etc. so not really an issue. We also prefer more authentic Nepalese food and this hotel as you’d expect, caters for all visitors tastes so it lacked that a little. Luckily there’s a very nice little restaurant within walking distance.
The views are simply stunning when the clouds clear. We didn’t even have to get out of bed to watch the sunrise over the Annapurnas. And the infinity pool has to have one of the best views I’ve ever seen (again when the clouds play nice). You will also be very hard pushed to find anywhere with staff that are so genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful. 10/10 for both views and the people.

We went here to celebrate a special birthday during our trip in Nepal and wanted a special location with great views. The hotel is smaller than expected and that made it very special, cosy and personal. Super room with perfect views if the clouds wouldn't have spoiled it but then that's mountains for you. Super bed, bathroom and facilities. Great and inexpensive room service and good breakfast. Fantastic pool but could do with some more sun loungers. Amazing rooftop terrace, spectacular views and unfortunately only stone bench seating, would be great to have some comfortable sun loungers there. Wonderful place to relax for a couple days and easy 15 min drive to Pokhara in a taxi if more excitement needed.

NetherlandsThe food is quite overpriced (but I heard retrospectively that food in Pokhara tends to be more expensive in general). The location is quite far from the main center, but you can ask the front desk to arrange transport for you from- and to the center/lakeside.
The view from the hotel is spectacular (unfortunately it was a bit cloudy when I was there and I couldn't see the mountains). The staff is friendly and helpful and the check-in process went pretty quick. The pick-up and drop service is well-arranged and accessible. The manager was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was massive and had a panorama window toward the mountains. Very convenient location if you want to go ziplining from Sarankot.

GermanyI wish the swimming pool were not so close to the entry to the building where many people walk/cars come. But it is a minor thing. Also, there were some stains on towels which is not nice for a place that is so great otherwise. The location is quite far from town and you need to take a taxi (you can walk down the mountain if you wish but not easily up) but that's not necessarily a problem - you are away from all the crowds and have a nice view.
High quality accommodation; awesome breakfast. It was even possible to order room service using their digital concierge - no need to call. Food was excellent - very fresh and high quality.

PhilippinesNothing! Everything was absolutely wonderful!
Everything! The whole experience was a wonderful respite from all things uncomfortable. Pickup was easy to arrange with them. They provide it for free. Checkin was a breeze, and we were off to our beautiful room with the most beautiful view in no time at all. The staff were fantastic, even the trainees were good. They were so attentive, and really felt warm and welcoming. The room was so nice, considering the price. The epitome of great value for money. You really wake up to the view, and even get a coffee table and 2 armchairs to chill at, with a book and/or coffee and tea. The food was delicious, and good value for money, considering you're at a secluded hotel, with not that many other options. Lastly, nothing beats swimming in the infinity pool, with the backdrop of the Annapurna Mountain Range.

The Hotel is amazing, views are even more stunning...just save a but more if you need to and book this hotel. Get a room with a balcony if u can..5001. The staff lead by Mr Ramesh is excellent. So caring and welcoming. You will love this place, the view from the room is breathtakingly beautiful. From the moment we arrived for our honeymoon everyone was so friendly and caring that you feel relaxed and cared for. The room decorated was appreciated by the wife. The free tranfer from the airport is great. And the breakfast option is also unique and has a good variety. The bar at the rooftop....wow. views of snowcapped mountains, open air, the valley below and the noise of birds, its a whole different vibe from London. Mr Ramesh and his team, took care of anything we wanted and helped us with booking activities, tours and taxis. He was always around and took time to know if he could assist anyway. A credit to KGH group. I certainly will be back to this hotel because of him. Thanks for the hospitality.
