Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. This was our 2nd time staying in Himilayan Ghar. Love this hotel. Staff are fabulous! Lovely spacious bedroom and bathroom. Bed v big and really comfy. Shower great. Our own balcony to relax on. Breakfast set us up for the day. Location fantastic. Can't recommend enough!

Central location in Thamel, great place to stay for visiting Kathmandu Breakfast on the Rooftop every morning was lovely! The rooftop is a great feature of this hotel, can come up here at any point to relax and have views of the city.

Great location in Thamel off a quiet off street. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop deck.!The breakfast service was great and had a lot of great choices like pancake, made to order eggs, fresh watermelon juice, veggies, and more. We were only there for a couple nights, but would stay again.

AustraliaGreat location - on the edge of Thamel but in a very quiet street. Comfortable, light-filled and very clean 2 room apartment in a small hotel with a very happy feel. Excellent breakfast and views (see photo) from the roof top restaurant. But the best thing about Himalayan Ghar is the staff - great service, very friendly and always helpful. It's like staying with friends. Stayed there for two months on a business trip and will be back there when I'm next in Kathmandu
