Well located hotel near the lake and the main street, close to shops, bars and restaurants as well as boat rental and a spot where a lot of taxi drivers park during the day which is pretty handy. Nice view on the lake and the mountains from the rooftop. Simple but tasty breakfast and a good coffee, good Wi-Fi available in the rooms as well as restaurant. Helpful staff which is ready to help with anything. Possibility to pay in USD.

A lift would have been very handy but I didn't mind the stairs.

The lake and the mountain view were absolutely stunning, I enjoyed every second of my stay in the room. I could see the lake from my very comfortable bed. I loved the staff and the owner they were very welcoming and cooperative. I was able to complete my work without any hurdles(noise, wifi lag, electricity).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent as it offers an unobstructed view of Fewa lake and has some restaurants and shops nearby but is away from noise and traffic. The amenities were satisfactory. The hot water and free Wi Fi were reliable.

Room size and the furnishing of the room: It seemed to us, that the furnishing of the room was not up to the mark and didn't meet our expectations one we had while booking through booking.com by seeing the pictures. Extra charges for the activities (zip-line, cable car): The hotel owner runs a travel agency as well from where we booked the cable car and zip-line. After finishing the activity(one day later), I realized the charge of one person's cable car was included in the zip line which he didn't mention, and took extra money. Though he gave me a 500 NPR discount from the overall price, still he charged extra and this strongly questions professionalism and trust with the tourist. Extra 10% VAT Charges while asking for cash support: Interestingly and unfortunately, my financial cards were not working in the whole of Pokhara city except in my hotel's machine. This is why I asked a favor from the hotel owner to take the support of his machine to collect 15,000 NPR in cash. But he said for this 10% VAT would be charged which is 1,666 NPR. Later I discovered that it was not true (VAT story). But even if he wanted to make some profit, he could make it smaller. 1,666 NPR is a high price for just simple support to a trapped tourist. It again questions the trust issue and reliance. Extra Charge on my Driver's Breakfast: I offered a breakfast to my driver. He really took a very small breakfast which price would not be a maximum of 100 NPR (according to my Nepali driver). But the hotel charged 300 NPR for this! Though in the last day we were offered two black tea in free by the hotel owner.

The hotel location is in a fantastic area with a lake view just on the other side of the road. The breakfast was also very much enjoyable, especially the alu-paratha and black tea. The attitude and behavior of the hotel owner and the waiter were very comforting. Additionally, the hotel owner guided us where to visit, how to visit which came as great support for us.

Terrible Experience Rating: ⭐️ My recent stay was nothing short of a nightmare. I, along with my wife and kids, had an incredibly unpleasant experience due to the hotel's numerous shortcomings. Firstly, the hotel failed to provide basic amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and even a simple cup of tea or coffee in the room. It was astonishing to discover that these essentials were not part of their standard offerings. The lack of communication was also appalling. When we faced an issue with the water running out at 10 pm, I called the front desk multiple times for assistance, but no one bothered to answer our calls. This left us in a state of discomfort and frustration. To make matters worse, the hotel's breakfast service was a complete letdown. When I requested some basic food items like milk, cornflakes, or oats for the kids, I was told they didn't have any. The next day, when I ordered breakfast, they repeated the same fruit-only offering and claimed to have nothing suitable for my kids. Eventually, the only option they had for the children was plain white bread with butter, and to add insult to injury, they charged extra for this subpar breakfast. Comparing this experience to a farmhouse, I must say that even a basic farmhouse provides better services and amenities than this abysmal hotel.

I appreciate the scenic lake view from the hotel, and the added charm of having a terrace in every room, although the privilege of a lake view is reserved for a few rooms. The owner is helpful and polite.
