This is a perfect location for visiting lumbini. It's away from the road surrounded by fields so nice and quiet but just a short walk to the Maya Devi temple. The hotel is clean with very friendly hosts, a real family feeling with home cooked food. You can feel relaxed here and the owners will help with any information about the area. Would definitely recommend staying here to visit lumbini.

Burning used plastic bottles right next to the hotel, it is a common problem. Please keep persuading the owner to introduce the refilling service, he seems open to it :)

The cleanest hotel we stayed at in Nepal. It is new and shining. When you add extremely nice, friendly and helpful staff, you receive a great accommodation experience. 3 minutes to Lumbini temple area gate No.5, the best entry to Mayadevi temple, also a hub for taxis, tuk-tuks and buses. A tourist agency is also there. Very good location. I really recommend it. Apart from friendliness, the owner is also open for improvement recommendations, e.g. water refilling service, so less plastic is produced. BTW, AC is not available in all rooms, some guests do not wish it, so make sure to make the right booking: with/without AC.

They helped me get back a box 📦 I left on the bus with my things. The hotel was not where google maps said it was but some one was at the wrong place there told me where the right place was and called the hotel and they immediately came and showed me the way. Peaceful location with water buffalo.

My double deluxe room with a/c provided comfort during the summer heat. Host and staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 mins walk to Lumbini grounds.

The only point to improve is the AC in the room - rather weak. We had to set it at minimum temperature together with the ceiling fan at maximum!

Location is excellent to visit Lumbini Sacred Garden + Maya Devi Temple. The room was clean and comfortable! The place is very quiet surrounded by lands and buffalos 😊. Food is very good and at fair prices! The staff were kind and helpful! They helped us to book our bus tickets to Chitwan!

I admire their hospitality and most importantly healthy food. As this hotel is run by a family they're way too frank and caring.During my stay I had a great time.As the name 'Kanthak' means a favourite companion of Lord Buddha who was always there to accompany him , similary the whole family is always there to take care of your need and comfort.
