Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BrazilThe hotel was heaven in Nepal for us. The whole atmosphere, the location, the staff, the helpfulness, the kindness we received was incredible. Everything was perfect. Every wish was fulfilled with a smile. Our luggage was stored before the trek. Laptops came in a special looker. Breakfast, lunch and dinner always tasted very good. You always felt very comfortable and looked after. What you should definitely do after the trek if your thighs are burning with pain is the full body massage. We have had many massages on our tours but this was exceptional. We hope you have a lot of fun in this beautiful hotel.

I rate this hotel so highly The management team have done their homework and there is no need to go anywhere else if you not on a tour/trek The double deluxe room was huge Comfortable bed and pillows, Always hot water shower, safe, fridge and quiet air conditioning, water and toiletries updated daily. The outside space is magnificent. The pool, the seating areas water trickling everywhere and so many green plants. A fully equipped gym the spa. We ate here at least once a day the food is superb. The spa very reasonable prices we went three different days. The pool, although small is great to get out of heat and towels provided. Also a great location. But what really makes this is the staff they are naturally welcoming and can't do enough for you. We will definitely be back

Czech RepublicI have one big complaint: the very noisy closing of the doors to the rooms. They have a bad system on the door and everyone who leaves the room makes a big bang through the door so you're up with the first person who gets up.
I really enjoyed the pool, especially considering the fact that I came back from a several-day trek. Breakfast great. A very pleasant garden. The reception booked me a taxi late at night for the next morning to my next destination, very easy and everything worked great.

United StatesMy only suggestion would be to give new clients a heads up that deep-tissue massage can mess you up! I wasn't too sore but I think I got dehydrated or something and felt nauseous and completely drained for a day or two. They did provide a glass of water, but no one stressed how important it is to hydrate. Apparently feeling ill isn't uncommon after deep-tissue massage, something about lactic acid, so might be nice to let clients know - I was quite surprised and thought I was getting sick, but I was fine after a couple days.
What a welcoming experience! I was greeted with a delicious watermelon beverage. Everyone working there was lovely and accommodating. Room was clean, shower was great once I had someone show me how to get hot water because the subcontinent's plumbing continues to flummox me (I think I was just turning it the wrong way and being impatient). I ordered room service which was fantastic. The courtyard is beautiful and a nice place to breakfast. I booked a second night last-minute and they were able to find me a room in the other building. They have a laundry service which was pricey because I had it expedited. The lake is a quick walk away, and there are lots of good food options nearby. I got a deep-tissue massage and a scrub, which uses an exfoliating lotion (not like a Korean scrub where they scrub your skin off with the scrubby thing). Both were lovely but it was my first deep-tissue massage... see below!

United KingdomStayed here multiple times during my month in Nepal and had a lovely stay each time. All the staff are wonderful and so helpful organising extras such as luggage storage during trekking as well as bus/taxis. The bus they booked for me from Pokhara to Kathmandu was so comfortable. Rooms were incredibly clean, breakfast was nice, showers were hot and pool area was such a nice addition. Hotel is set back from the road so was quiet at all times. I stayed in multiple rooms and all were good, though I actually preferred the standard rooms due to the balcony over the pool. Staff were so helpful in assisting moving rooms and everything felt seamless during my stay. Value for money was great, it feels like a mini resort - including be able to order poolside snacks. Would absolutely recommend.

This is an outstanding hotel for the price. From the moment we walked in, to the morning we left we enjoyed everything about hotel middle path . The breakfast and day/night menu is delicious, didn’t order a dish that was disappointing. Cold beer great food and all presented by warm hearted and friendly staff. The grounds are a comfort to the eye , with very usable pool , gym, and massage spa facilities at your door. It’s only a short walk to lakeside and shops. I can’t fault the staff or manager, so helpful and genuine in their want for you to enjoy your time with them and Nepal. Please stay here you will thank yourself for the choice .

Canada4.5 out of 5 for comfort only because I found the bed hard for me. But that's a preference.
This is a little slice of heaven in the chaotic streets of pokhara. The court yard is beautiful and quiet, the service was top notch. The pool is heated. Everyone was so helpful and very friendly, my room was made up everyday. It was super clean, good shower. It's a really good price for what you get. Will be back!

United StatesWe had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Middle Path. First off, the breakfast was wonderful, we were given lots of choices from a menu and it was all delicious with many great healthy choices. This was so nice as we were able to start our day after a tasty and enjoyable breakfast, such a great way to start our days. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days before our trek and 1 day after. We were able to store our luggage that we didn’t need on the trek which was extremely helpful. Coming back to the hotel after our trek felt like coming home again. The hotel was like an oasis to come back to, there’s a relaxing patio and courtyard area with lots of greenery, it felt very serene and peaceful. The staff was always so helpful and pleasant. Our flight leaving Pokhara to Kathmandu was cancelled the day we left the hotel and we found ourselves stranded at the airport. We called the hotel and they were able to arrange a private driver to take us to Kathmandu, this was a lifesaver! We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family and will absolutely stay there again when we return to Pokhara.
