We were on the top floor and the shower took about 10-15mins to warm up. It was inconvenient at first, but we just knew we needed to turn the shower on a few minutes before getting in.

I liked the commitment of the staff to ensuring we were well looked after and have everything we need. The view of the river meant that we could see crocodiles and different bird life. The bed was big and comfortable. They hotel also organised all the tours for us. It was slightly more expensive, but it worked out well for us. The guides they used were very knowledgeable and we had great conversations about their land.

Breakfast could be better. Also: it needs to be more clearly stated beforehand what is included in the tours (we are glad we got told by other tourists about the elephant breeding center so we could refuse to go as we are very against this).

The location is amazing. Being able to see wildlife from the balcony. Special thanks at the kind man that works in the restaurant for pointing the animals out to us. Also liked the room, spacious and clean.

the fan was a little noisy and the AC didn’t cool much during daytime. but that wasn’t a big problem.

Sitaram was the highlight of the stay. very kind gentleman, will let you know when there’s a rhino in the river, he takes good care of you if you eat at the restaurant. hotel arranges for all tours, i did the safari and canoe rides, they were both really good.

The only thing is that the wifi works very good at the reception, but not at the room.

One of the best places to be if you like to be in the nature, wild vibe and very comfortable. The staff was great and helped us with the safari that was one of the Best experiences in my life, doing the walking safari, very unique. The room was also amazing woth views to the river.

I could feel springs digging into my back on the mattress, could do with replacing. If you book onward bus travel, just make sure you’re getting a decent tourist bus ticket - I booked a bus back to Kathmandu and it was more of a semi-tourist bus that took a long time due to constantly stopping to let people on and off and also let too many people onto the bus and had no AC. Not the hotels fault but just check that you’re being booked onto a decent bus service.

The location is amazing - right on the river with balconies and the restaurant looking into it. you can see wildlife easily and the staff will let you know and point out the animals. The rooms are spacious and clean, I had no issues with the hot water. There is a functioning heater/AC unit. Really great value for money. The restaurant is good, I ate there every day and the food is ok for what you’re paying and lots of choice at breakfast. The gentleman who works in there is just wonderful and so friendly, even remembering how you like your tea! Very short walking distance to the town. The staff can help arrange onward travel.

The property is right by the river with excellent views, especially at sunset. It's like watching the safari from the comfort of your own balcony at a very reasonable price. The waiter at the restaurant, Sitaram, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made our stay that much more pleasant.

The furniture is a bit old.

We had a very nice time at Jungle Wildlife Camp. You can watch a lot of bird and even rhino from the terrace. The waiter Sitaram is such a nice guy, he always helps you and is very friendly. We did a jungle walk and the guides were very expirienced, so we could see a lot of different animals.

- Can watch the rhinos across the river from the restaurant and from the balcony outside your room (room 521 has a great view) - Short walk into town where there are lots of restaurants and tour operators etc. - Breakfast simple but enough and starts early so you have time before going on safari - Staff extremely friendly, will come and knock on your door when they see a rhino across the river - Can book safaris through the hotel which are similarly priced to those offered in town

Didn’t like that all incidentals at the property were on a tab. There was no clear signage indicating prices for those incidentals. I strongly suggest that if you stay here, you ask for your incidentals bill to be provided in English - not Nepalese - to prevent any misunderstanding. Also strongly suggest that you do not use the laundry services at the hotel, which I understand are outsourced. The prices are *very* high.

Location was fantastic - right on the Rapti River. Sittram, the gentleman who worked in the restaurant/bar was just the best. Anything you needed, he took care of. Came to knock on our door when a rhino appeared on the riverfront. Incredibly hardworking. Incredibly knowledgeable. Five minute walk into town.

Amazing location, right on the river so saw lots of animals like rhinos and crocodiles. Staff were amazing, the waiter in particular was outstanding. Clean good size rooms with mosquito nets above the beds.

room is average. I had 512. toilet was not working properly. no TV was working, not connected and remote was missing. just cold-warm water for shower. breakfast was not so great.

The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would like, and there was a drain smell coming from the bathroom.

Excellent location on the river, we saw a rhino crossing the water from our room. Pickup and drop off from the bus station was unexpected and really convenient. We booked all our tours/safari through the helpful hotel staff. They also helped us with onward travel. The head waiter went out of his way to look after us and the food was good.

It took some time before the water in the shower got warm and with very low pressure.. but the rest of our stay was so nice that it didn't bother us that much.

The location near the river is great and it takes like 5-10 minutes to walk to the main street. Great view on the river and we spotted some crocodiles, domestic elephants and a rhino. The very friendly waiter from the restaurant helped us with spotting the animals 😊
