The hotel is more suitable for family than friends. The common space was on the rooftop and it wasn’t very nice.

The location is right at the centre of Thamel, so everything was easily accesible. The rooms were clean and they had hot water during the day.

Hot water is not consistently available, at least in January, but the staff will help find ways around it.

The location is top. Great hospitality by the owner and the staff who were very accommodating with every request. Helpful tips about where to eat, exchange money, or get warm clothes - all of which checked out to be solid recommendations! The rooftop is beautiful and a great spot to catch the sun in the morning!

Nothing, the room suited us fine.

Really enjoyed our stay, hotel in a great location amongst the bustle of Thamel, staff are all lovely and very helpful. Room is basic, but great value for Kathmandu. Had ensuite bathroom and water was hot. We are able to leave our luggage there while we go trekking, so we will be going back.

At the time of writing it is already December and temperatures drop to small single digits at night (Celsius, that is). The room has no heating and can become cold as well. When you know this, you can prepare and dress accordingly so this shouldn't be a big problem. Wet clothes or towels don't dry during the day so should be hanged outside. My room was on the top floor and the water pump had trouble getting hot water all the way up. I had my fair share of cold showers. The owner assured me he is aware and working on the problem. He even offered me a room at a lower level where the water was warmer. I didn't mind and refused politely. Thamel is a place where lots of parties happen at night. Loud bass booms reach easily into the room so bring good earplugs with you.

The owner is doing absolutely everything in his power to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He checks in on you on every occasion he gets. The location in the heart of Thamel is perfect for shops, bars, restaurants and a very lively area in general. My room was very spacious for one person, came with two single beds, a sofa, was clean and offered enough options to hang towels and clothes. The value for money is great.

Cleaning can be improved.

The location of the hotel is great, it is very conveniently located in Thamel near best restaurants, bars and nightlife . Kathmandu Durbar square is also very close from here , about 10 minutes of walk. For the price of about 10 dollers , this was a great find. Staff is very nice and tried their best to make our stay comfortable.

Not a good hotel to stay with family. The bed was too bad, I could not sleep.Not a suitable hotel for families. The bed was uncomfortable, making it hard for me to sleep. I do not recommend anyone to stay there.

It’s a budget hotel, but some issues were simply unacceptable. We missed our sunrise at Nagarkot because there was no cold water in the morning—only scalding hot water. At another time, there was no hot water at all, just freezing cold water. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, causing backaches, neck pain, and overall discomfort. In short, it’s okay for a single-night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying any longer.

The staff are excellent and very helpful. The trekking company at the hotel had been outstanding. The restaurant at the roof top is very good. The location in Thamel is great. The room and bathroom are excellent.

Sometimes in the evenings there was a lot of noice outside (I think from other hotel guests), but of course the hotel is not responsible for this. Anyway, stayed for 1.5 weeks here and extended twice.
