One of my favorite stays in all of Nepal! Clean and spacious room, comfy beds, A/C, warm water in the shower 24/7 & mountain views from room & rooftop bar. The common area is great to meet new people and there is a super tasty breakfast served in the morning. Free filtered water & storage. Lots of activities offered (treks, outdoor sports, walks, yoga etc.) for reasonable prices. We booked the Poonhill Ghorepani Threk (highly recommend) through the Hostel and the owner Suman was super helpful with this - thanks so much, we had a great time! :)

Just a wonderful place, chillest hostel I've been too and amazing and friendly staff. Good location at the edge of the tourist area, so it's still quiet. Stay here. You won't regret it.

I can’t fault this hostel. I had stayed at another down the road initially and luckily moved here. The hostel is in a great location (minutes from the lake), the service is brilliant and the staff are so friendly and take time to talk to you. The free breakfast is delicious and rooms also great and clean. There are also planned activities for those who wish to socialise. The bar on the rooftop and hammocks are also great. There’s also yoga classes twice a day.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Hostel had a great atmosphere and location. Breakfast was a nice bonus and different every day. Receptionist Maya was great. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is not in the main part of the lakeside where are more restaurants and bars, but it’s just a 10 minutes walk, so no big deal for us, definitely worth it for the hotel!

The staff is super kind and friendly, breakfast is amazing, the room is spacious and clean, nice rooftop bar, communal area with books and games, hot shower.. I’m sad that I just spent two night in this beautiful place!

In summer the bedrooms get very hot (I slept in 3 different dorms during my stay and they were all too hot)

Kiwi is a dream of a hostel - it has a great vibe and felt like a home! The staff are all lovely, the breakfast is good and it’s a very social hostel (not party though, everyone goes to bed at half past 10). As a solo traveler I met multiple people to hike with. Kiwi was a great place to come back to after a trek and I was always greeted like an old friend by the staff!

Everything was fine except I felt a prejudice by owner towards the Indians as in not giving all customers equal importance. Not a big issue but I felt it.

The owner is always there and he is friendly and helpful. The two ladies are amazing, they are nice and helpful. The room has A/C and it’s very comfortable and clean. The best location 👍

Very social hostel with great common areas (coworking room, dining room, 2 rooftops, a bar...). The free breakfast was particularly good and filling, and they tried to vary every day. I spent 1 night in a dorm and then was sick so I asked to switched to a private room and the staff was very helpfull in that process. They also helped me book my trip back to ktm. I highly recommend this hostel if you're looking to meet fun travelers from around the world while enjoying a calm and peaceful stay!!

This is a brilliant hostel! The staff are lovely, friendly and helped me with booking a bus back to Kathmandu. It's very peaceful with lots of communal places to relax and meet people, including a rooftop bar. The bed was comfy and clean and each bed in the dorm had a fan next to it, which was good. I booked to stay here for one night but extended my stay for 2 more nights as I loved it so much! The breakfasts were delicious. Although I didn't get chance to do it, the hostel also had some organised activities like momo making. As a solo traveller, I met some lovely travellers here. It's a great hostel! I highly recommend!!
