I liked the location of the property and how it was close by to everything. I love how the staff made us feel above and beyond. The manager Kamala and Samata were receptive to our needs and accommodating and always happy to help. They were quick with their recommendations to the restaurant and spa as well and got us situated with a massage when we urgently wanted one. Everyone was willing to help with bags and greeted us and showed us kindness. The food was fantastic and we didn’t have to venture out of the hotel when we were hungry as room service was available and we had breakfast and lunch on property too. We loved the massage and found the new menu appealing.

I had an exceptional stay at Lavie Hotel. The staff, led by the kind and attentive manager Kamala Rai, provided top-notch service. Despite my inability to visit the restaurant due to surgery, they promptly delivered meals to my room without hesitation. From room service to assistance with any need, their generosity and care stood out. Kamala Rai even personally escorted me to my room, ensuring my comfort. I was thoroughly impressed and highly satisfied with my experience.

The rooms are a bit tired looking. Nonetheless, they have good air conditioning and plenty of hot water for showers, which are essential.

The staff and their helpful, friendly energy were the property’s winning asset. I also loved the neighborhood. I booked an airport pickup directly through the hotel. They were helpful, communicative, and very dependable—in short, a great experience. I had friends who booked their arrival shuttles through other means, and that did not go so well.

During night time, food was below average , specially "Honey glazed chicken, butter naan and butter chicken". During day time, food was good.

While other hotels in the vicinity take payment at the end of the stay, this hotel collects room full payment upfront. It is fully legit of course but I was a little taken by surprise. Perhaps this should be stated clearly when guests book the room. House keeping could be improved to have the room cleaned and refreshed by early/mid afternoon, and not until a request is put to the reception.

It appears to be an older establishment, but the room was somewhat updated so I don't really have any complaints about it. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was excellent and food was good, I had a few meals there and liked it.

The windows were shut tight and sometimes it was stuffy in the room. Apart from that starting from 6:00 in the morning you could hear the traffic and late during the night dogs howling and barking. Not the best sleep I’ve had.

The staff was unbelievably polite and helpful. The restaurant was very good and open even when the other places were closed.

Staying at Lavie Residence and Spa made my landing in Nepal a dreamy experience. I could feel the care and special attention that everyone at Lavie is putting towards the guests and the place itself. The room and the common areas were super clean and with a lot of beautiful details. The soft music in the hall made me always very happy. The breakfast was delicious and room service was such a blessing. I had a massage at the spa and it made me feel good for days! It is very close to Bouda Stupa at a walking distance and the area around is very calm with everything you might need, from atm to stores, sim cards and even amazing organic places (i recommend the ananda tree house at just two minutes!) The staff always helped me with anything i needed and in a very thoughtful and respectful way. An experience that felt like floating on soft clouds. I definetly recommend to anyone to pamper themselves with a stay at Lavie for their hearts, bodies and minds 💕🌺

When we were visiting, there was road work on the street leading to the hotel, so walking to and from the hotel was a little challenging during the rainy season, but it was all repaired by the time we left and there were no major problems.

The whole staff at Lavie made us feel very warmly welcomed. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable with good A/C, and the location is perfect for exploring the very special area of Boudhanath. But the best part of our stay at Lavie was definitely the restaurant! Book a stay with the breakfast included, and you won’t be disappointed— what a delicious and satisfying way to start the day and stay energized for a day of exploring! Dinner is also outstanding- honestly, some of our most memorable meals from the whole 10-day stay were in the hotel restaurant! Thank you for making our first visit to Nepal so special!
