The suite would be better if it has a safety box and a mini ref for the room to complete ita spacious and clean rooms.

The food is great but moreover its the staff's attentiveness and genuine service is what tops it all especially Chadani and Bipana who make your stay so worth it with their hospitality.

Service is excellent and room is spacious! Staff were friendly and attentive (Manager remembered us when we came back for the food again). Food from both Lavie Residence and Lavie Garden is awesome, might be the the best in Boudha! We had a short stay at Lavie Residence and headed up to Kopan Monastery to further our stay, then came down back to Lavie Garden for their food because it was so delicious and we missed it! We ordered Veg Briyani, Butter Paneer Masala, Garlic Naan, Farmer’s Pizza, Garlic Aloo Bomb, Lavie Magic Aloo, and ALL WERE FANTASTIC, oh not to forget the Veg Momo! We travel to Kathmandu every year and will come back over and over again from now now. Location is great and a short walk to Boudha.

2 things: 1. The phone wasn't working. 2. The lights of room needs repairs. But these are just minor adjustments. Rest things and our stay was really comfortable.

The overall experience was really nice. Warm welcome, de-tour, details for what we might need. The whole team wore poliet and well behaved. The room was nice and warm, clean and really tidy. Early morning, promising timing for breakfast and really well cooked. Loved it. Amazingly great team!

The room was spacious. Walking distance to the big stupa. In-room breakfast service was complimentary. Room cleaning needs to be requested daily, otherwise it doesn't get cleaned. Breakfast is delicious but there is a very limited choice. The associated Lavie Garden restaurant is amazing to try.

Single pane windows right off the Main Street in Kathmandu is a problem. Loud noise at night, it was very difficult for me to sleep. With the cars, dogs, the laundry room right above our head to the heater making a lot of noise. The toilet went out the first night, but the staff was very helpful. The bathroom flooded when you took a shower.

The staff were very friendly and kind. Things went wrong but they went out of their way to be welcoming and try and make everything right. The room was big and the staff would bring breakfast up to the room.

My room was facing the street and it was quite loud during the night, flying pigeons who tried to land on my window, also the dogs were barking and around 6am local stores started to open, so it was quite loud. However, maybe I was too sensitive to that since before I stayed in another hotel with my windows facing the yard. Breakfast was served as per your request, so it took more time than expected as you get seated and then wait for the breakfast to be served. Initially, I expected it to be a buffet.

The price is really good and unexpectedly the cleanest of the room was at the top. In addition, the hotel is 10 min away from Stupa, therefore convenient for those, who want to be in this area.

WiFi only worked off and on; air conditioner on its last leg - wasn’t working effectively and needs repair. Asked for quiet room but was not given one and was kept up all night by barking dogs on busy street. Hotel is nice and in good location and staff are helpful, breakfast is good, but need to make sure you get room on quiet, garden side of building and be weary if reliable AC and Wi-Fi are important to you

Liked the room size, spa, overall Value for money. It is surely a great budget friendly hotel and you get what you pay for and will be happy if you dont expect everythingnperfect. Imperfications are good. Staff are nice.

The restaurant was closed when we arrived (around 10.45pm), and nothing was open nearby. A staff member helped us order a pizza, although it took ages to arrive! If you are coming late at night and you might be hungry, definitely try to get some food before arrival!

LaVie Residence was very easy to get to from the airport, and we could check in despite arriving quite late in the evening. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and quiet, and the wifi worked well. The breakfast was delicious, and overall it was great value for money.

I don't appreciate being given a list of items that I had to agree and sign not to steal upon arrival; being provided a "quiet room" that I hadn't requested and was actually quite noisy given the laundry room was above where I slept, as well as the staff break room next door to my room (I think). I was offered another room after 3 or 4 days of poor sleep, but by then it wasn't worth moving. I was chased up the stairs late at night and asked to pay for half my stay, then chased down the street by the manager asking why I hadn't eaten breakfast, when I had been told upon arrival that breakfast would be extra. I should have also been provided with a free airport transfer, but that did not occur, either.

Window dirty. Key stick is bad quality,easily broken. Which hotel wanna charge me 1000rupees , I have to argue and bargain. Because the price for one small electricity stick is far much higher than normal price. Moreover when pay by USD, hotel choose 135 ex for paying but 125ex for changes ,which is absolutely robbery. My local friend have to help me for communication. I will not choose this place again, and not recommend to all people I know. In our mind,doing business is based on honesty and integrity.

Shower is good. Big room nice view. Most staffs are nice.

Room was not clean, bathroom was horrible. The bathroom turns into a bathtub when taking a shower. We have informed the staff, but nothing was done. During check out we were charged for breakfast, although this was included in our booking. The receptionist deducted this after I told her, no apologies or anything when I told her. Then she tried to charge me for a black coffee by saying that cappuccino was included in the breakfast, but black coffee is not. I have never heard anything like this before haha. Will not return to this hotel again and recommend to spend a bit more to avoid this place.

Check-in time was supposed to be 2 pm but we're made to wait for 45 mins till we got the room. It looked as if they ignored us on purpose as we were from India. We were given the Sambhala Suite. The wardrobes were really dirty. No bathroom mat was provided and we had to repeatedly ask. Without our permission, when we were outside, the housekeeping lady dared to enter the room and we had to complain about this.

Location is good, it's in the Boudha area and just very close to the Stupa. The size of the room was big as we chose the Jr Suite room.

I booked this hotel for peaceful stay with with family. To be honest, it was a huge disappointment. For the price I paid rooms were disappointing. They checked me in a room with used bedsheets. You could see blood stained tissue on the toilet which was not flushed. Later they changed the room to the new one. They told me that they do not iron bedsheets and it had all the wrinkles which made it impossible to notice if its clean or used. Breakfast was really poor: you just get a coffee, omelette, bread and sausage plus veggies. Bread was super hard. All in all the hotel did not meet my expectations.

Location is pretty close to Boudhanath stupa. Staffs were very friendly.
