How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Sound insulation.
Rebooked to stay here again as its a good location, value and rooms just what you need. Very helpful in booking a taxi for us for onward journey.

During our 2nd night visit we arrived late, but the staff felt disturbed as we came at dawn which I already stated in my mail that I would be coming late. That's the only thing. Apart from that I liked it.
Breakfast was fine. Location was good. It is clean that's matter most to me.

Walls and doors very thin. You can hear people coming/going and tv in other rooms.
Friendly staff. Value for money rooms. Location just out of the busiest spot which is great. Perfect spot for the tourist bus stop when leaving for pokhara early morning etc. About 3-5 mins walk. Barber also close by which were very good and a massage!

I didn't like that it came out looking like I was developmentally challenged and that it followed me to several different states in India including the Tibetan population in Himichal Pradesh, feeling isolated, polarized, forced to be something or someone I'm not. And it's simply not true, so know!
Knowing the slow developmentally challenged people think I am like them and I'm simply not and it's not true. I had a different life when I was young it's not the same, because this occured people hold me to idiocy, stupidity, and such when it's not true. I served the young and old vulnerable of this community and normal people (whatever that means) are really hostile toward me. Thinking minds need to slow down. I'm more brilliant then my peers, my peers are not the developmentally challenged people, my peers are people like you and me .

They should have a lift for senior citizens and the luggauge.
The location and the room. They did decorate and designed small areas perfectly. It's very near to Thamel center and the taxi stand.

Privacy wasnt the best since each and every one can hear the others talking from nearby rooms. Bathrooms didnt have a bidet shower and the bathroom was partially visible from outside which makes the one inside more uncomfortable

Member was very rude who checked us in. When asked for water bottles said only 2 bottel complimentary rest you have to pay. Beds were not at all comfortable. Selected some other room but he provided some other room.

Thank you for the warm and welcoming hospitality. As a solo female traveler, I felt well cared for and safe throughout my stay. The host was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. Their thoughtfulness and care made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The noise from inside and out made it nearly impossible to get a descent sleep new arrivals off the coaches wake you between 4-5 am, noise from dogs barking motor vehicles and just about any noise, and worst I think out of the 4 nights we stayed we only had hot water 1 day,
Overall the hotel was fair, pretty clean apart from a night time visitor of a cockroach, breakfast was ample and the staff super polite and helpful

Outstanding value for the price! The hotel is a bit hidden and hard to find in a side street, but the room was nice and clean, facilities worked well and the breakfast on the rooftop was excellent, considering what we paid. The owner offered to take us to the airport for a fair price. We will come here again when we return to KTM
