Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesLocation is a big plus. Hotel is situated in Thamel, conveniently near stores and restaurants, but on a back street away from traffic and street noise. The manager, Gangu, was very welcoming and helpful, as were the staff. Room was comfortable and quiet. Very good value. Highly recommend.

This place is exactly where you want to stay in Kathmandu if you are looking for value, cleanliness, location and helpfulness from staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast has a nice selection to start your day. The Manager Ganga Hari Dahal is attentive and very helpful, arranging transportation, breakfast packets for an early departure and answering any questions you have about the area and where to find things. This is the place to stay in Kathmandu if you want value for your money, at a high standard.

Above and beyond epitomises these wonderful people and beyond the hotel staff the people they are associated with for drivers and tour guides are just as wonderful.
